This level is fairly straightforward.
Enemies are spiders. The hitboxes on the spiders seems inconsistent. For a few spiders, I jumped onto the lava island where they couldn't reach me. Many of the arrows seemed not to do any damage and disappear, especially when shooting at the spiders in profile and when aiming at the thorax.
The other unpredictable thing is that the spiders variably take 2 or 3 sword hits to die, so be vigilant. I would recommend the sword over the crossbow or upgraded bow since hitboxes for arrows are spotty with lots of missd arrows.
My loadout was sword and upgraded longbow with (Strength/Endurance/Agility) stats at 8/6/8.
Jumping is straightforward, with large, square lava platforms conducive to simple running jumps on and off.
Final boss is some sort of reptilian monster. It charges at you aggressively and does double biting attacks. I found it simpler to use the bow for this boss, shooting arrows while constantly retreating in a circle.
