How to unlock the Speeding Ticket achievement in Crysis 2 - Definitive Guide

To unlock "Speeding Ticket," you must sprint past each of the 10 individual speed cameras located throughout the single player campaign. You will know that you have received progress toward this achievement when the entire screen flashes and the words "Speeding ticket received" briefly appear on your HUD.

Running past a single camera multiple times will not count more than once. If the screen flashes but the words do not appear, it simply means that you have already received a ticket from that particular camera.

The video provided in this solution shows where each camera is and contains convenient links in the video description to skip around to whichever corresponding mission you need.

The achievement does not need to be done in a single playthrough, so feel free to use Replay Mission to jump to specific missions in any order. The game will auto-save after you receive a ticket from any camera for the first time, so be sure to wait for the auto-save to finish before quitting to the main menu.

Also, bear in mind that some speed cameras may be difficult to miss when naturally playing through the campaign, such as the one on the mission "Road Rage." You may want to put off checking these cameras until the end, in case you've already received tickets from them. However, there is no in-game list for you to consult to determine on which missions you have received a ticket, so it may help to keep a running list of your own progress.

_____________________________________________________________

[ ] SECOND CHANCE - on the left side of the road stemming north from the intersection, just outside of the "doughnut building," and in front of a closed evacuation gate.
[ ] SUDDEN IMPACT - after the parking garage, on right side of the street SE of the heavily defended intersection, just past an evacuation checkpoint.
[ ] ROAD RAGE - shortly after the entering the road-blocked tunnel, on the right side of the road, just below a sign that reads "FDR Drive North."
[ ] GATE KEEPERS - on the SW side of the cathedral, on the left side of the road below a street light.
[ ] SEAT OF POWER - on the left side of the broken, inclined street leading out of the sink hole where you were prompted to hold Y to watch a distant building collapse.
[ ] SEMPER FI OR DIE - (this is one of the trickier ones) after destroying two of the Ceph mini-spires and ascending an array of broken streets and ramps, you'll come to a road outlining a giant chasm, at the beginning of which a broken truck on the left side acts as a ramp leading up to a platform. From here you can see the speed camera hanging from a bridge fallen sideways. You will need to sprint and jump off of the platform toward the camera.
[ ] TRAIN TO CATCH - on the left side of the road, right after the vehicle checkpoint in front of the library (just before you need to activate two anti-aircraft turrets).
[ ] UNSAFE HAVEN - on the right side of a road, under the overpass just outside of the Onyx building.
[ ] POWER OUT - on the right side of the road just after a vehicle checkpoint, as you head to the evac site.
[ ] MASKS OFF - after taking both lifts up to the bridge, and after climbing to the "higher" level of the broken road, the final speeding camera is in the center lanes, between some concrete road blocks and a fence-like divider.

Do you have to finish the mission or can you load it, get the speed camera, and then load next mission?

It immediately auto-saves after you're given a ticket from a camera from which you haven't already received one.

it also auto-saves after collector's item pickup, so if your item-hunting and ticket-hunting, you can quit and load the next level on the list.

As snake mentions, it also auto-saves after you nab souvenirs. I recall many of the souvenirs are right at the beginning of the levels, so you can probably pick them up along the way. :)

great video with descriptions, I normally don't do video guides because it's hard to track where people are.

Since I'm just the nicest bloody person I know, I catered to your ungrateful, anti-tab whims. Hopefully it helps. :P

If anyone wants to double check the info and the quality of the descriptions, I'd be happy to improve anything that needs clarification/rewording.

There are a total of 10 speed cameras throughout the game. They're not all visible and sometimes in a part of the level where you don't need to go. To spot a speed camera, they're a big white box attached to lamp posts. Most are on the roads but some are sideways on broken rubble etc.

To trigger the camera and make it give you a Speeding Ticket, line yourself up with it and simply sprint up/past it. The camera will flash and hand you a ticket, plus the game also saves. You can't repeat this on the same camera, so each run has to be done on a different one, but for a strange bit of fun you can also run past them in Maximum Stealth and it'll still catch you!

You need to quickly run in front of the camera that records your speed.

The cameras are located on 10 different levels.

Don't forget that you must speed up by pressing and forward, and not just walk or run past the camera, otherwise it won’t be counted. I also advise you to make the sound louder so that you don’t miss the sound signal when the camera detects you, there will also be an automatic save, after which you can exit without going through the level to the end.
