How to unlock the Arrow to the Knee! achievement in Crysis 3 Remastered - Definitive Guide

Fairly easy achievement, but what you need to know is that you need to use LOW draw weight on the bow. Go to the screen where you change your bow ammo, hold cn_back button. You can also change your draw weight as indicated in the upper right hand. Its actually a really easy thing to miss and I am sure plenty of people played through the entire game without realizing you can draw you bow differently. It needs to be on low draw weight. Then shoot some poor dude in the knee. (Also, of course, use normal arrows)

But here is the tricky thing. You can not kill him, you need to wound. So try and just flick the arrow, pull the bowstring back a touch, pretty much just a quick pull on the trigger, so it's not a full pull.

You need to select a weak bowstring tension in the bow settings, then shoot at the enemy’s knee, the enemy must survive and you will receive a trophy.

Set it to the average level (above a beginner, like soldiers), since on a beginner it kills right away.

You have to shoot without tensioning the bowstring, otherwise I tried with tension, even with low tension the mob died

As I understand it, you can shoot not at a CELL fighter, but also at an alien, since I got this trophy by accident when I hit a stalker (one of the types of aliens).

Use the lowest tension setting on your bow. The easiest way to do it is in the first location.
