Crysis 3 Remastered (UP)

On the face of it, this is a really simple achievement, but I did run into some difficulties.

Towards the end of the second mission you'll enter an area of tall grass that's full of Stalkers and old railway carriages. Your suit will start going haywire and you'll be told there's something in the area causing disruption i.e. the nanosuit jammer.

All you have to do to unlock the achievement is find the jammer and disable it. Finding it is incredibly easy; in fact if you zoom in and look straight ahead from your initial vantage point above the railyard you can see it - on top of a shallow concrete platform with some ammo crates and explosive barrels.

Getting there is no trouble on the easier difficulties; the Stalkers will hardly bother you. Once you've found it, approach the console and you'll be prompted to press X to disable the jammer. This seems to unlock the achievement for 99.9% of people; every video guide you watch shows people doing it this way.

But for me it just didn't unlock. The jammer was disabled, but no achievement. I restarted the checkpoint over and over again but it just wasn't playing ball.

Luckily, I saw a comment from someone on a video saying you can also shoot the jammer until it explodes. After restarting the mission and then shooting the jammer, this did finally unlock the achievement for me!

So... if it doesn't unlock the normal way... try shooting it. Best of luck!
