I was having a lot of trouble with this achievement with the solutions provided, so I searched the net and found this image that makes it really easy to get on Kithili Sands (in W2).

NOTE: Do not buy upgrades or units early, it will cause you to mess up the level and you will have to start over.

On 26, 28 and 30 I ran out of Gil before I could upgrade and place all units. Lost 10 Crystals on Wave 30 because of it.

You're welcome? I did it twice, got the same result both times. I'm not sure why you seem to be offended by my downvote since you didn't make the map. That's how a solution works- you make it & if the person doesn't find it helpful they downvote it.

FYI, it's gone wrong on Level 29 every time I've tried it. There HAS to be some other thing that should be placed on Level 29 instead of 30. Suggestions?

This time I got it by doing everything for Wave 30 on Wave 29 except for Soldier X to Level 7 and Empower Blue Gem P. On Wave 30 you can Empower Blue Gem P and once you kill one of the Wave 30 enemies you can upgrade Soldier X to Level 7 and barely make it.

That worked absolutely flawlessly with the latest patch, and I never ran out of money at any point (I had 2 gil left after the final placement in Wave 30). Precise placement is essential - and that is an easy thing to mess up given the way the graphics are presented (the cursor appears to go into the road/jar slightly for some placements) - but nail it and it works. Good find!

Solution works! Failed for me the first time when I put some troops on the field too soon instead of doing 'nothing'. This way I got a lower clear bonus on a level, so I didn't have enough gil to upgrade the final time mage and failed. If you do EVERY step like it stands in the solution, it works perfectly!

Had same problem as TheOtherBarber. Followed guide exactly, didn't have enough gil to empower blue crystal on P or upgrade TM to level 2 at T. Lost 5 crystals on final wave.

Thanks for the image. I'm not a big fan of pictured solutions, I rather prefer videos, but for this games, 'text' guides are the best.

But Preeeemo, I think you should incorporate in your solution that we DO need to respect the waves time-line adds and upgrades. Because at first I was just recruting and leveling up my troops as soon as I could, not waiting for the proper waves to do it. I had some advance for sure, but in the end, that's what made me lose the game. Doing each waves as it is said fix this problem and no gems are stolen.

Worked perfectly. I absolutely love the grid solution. Much easier to follow than video or even just plain text. P.S. for anyone looking...the solution in the walkthrough does not work, but this one works great.

I've followed both this and the video walkthroughs multiple times and the last guy gets through no matter what, it doesn't make any sense.

Worked second try for me. As mentioned, do exactly what it says in the guide. Upgrading early will screw you later.

Finally an easy to follow text version. Thanks. Worked like a charm, but I did not have enough money to upgrade the final blue crystal until I killed one of the bosses in Wave 30. Still got it, though.

I did it 4 times "almost" exactly and failed every time. The big trick or point people should know with this guide is to follow it exactly and DO NOT place the next rounds guys before the round starts, even if you have the money. Same thing, DO NOT level up your men before you are supposed to.

Your round bonus is measured on what troops you have on the field and what levels. If you overpower your troops before the right level, you lose out on bonus coins needed for later. If level 5 for example calls for a 3 Archer, DO NOT make him a 4 archer, just because you can.

Hello all. I have been unable to get the achievement with the previous solutions even if i placed the units in the right place and upgraded them properly. I found this video on YouTube and i got it 1st try. I think that an update to the game may have made the other solutions not work as the units may behave differently or something.

Just make sure you place the units in the right places and upgrade them as he does and it will work.

The level is called Orchise Snowfields.

Burnside are you certain that you put the units in the right spots? If so then perhaps there was an update to the game that changes the enemies little.I know that when i did this,trying another video i had seen, it did not work for me.

I had the units in the right spots and upgraded them accordingly as well, but no luck.If you can not get this solution to work, then try another set up.There are a few different videos.

Carbuncle keeps sneaking through right at the very end!! Hehe, I think there is maybe a 1/4 second variation sometimes, as the first time I tried this, one of the bombs got thru but hasn't since, lol

Got it on the 1st try. The video makes it hard to see placement & who's being upgraded between each round, but if you pause it, look for landmarks & make sure you have the same amount of gold as the video between each round then it will work.

The video is hard to follow but it *does* work. It took me a few tries because a bomb kept slipping by, so I did that level without using speed up and my archer finally caught him.

Awesome guide! Thank you so much! I struggled at wave 9 and kept failing. Perhaps my positioning of the guys were just a step away or something and that made the difference but i kept failing. So instead i upgraded my mage to level 4 the one on the south middle position. Then after that i kept having lesser gold. But i followed everything after except that i never upgraded the mage to the right to level 7 as he only reached level 6 at the time you upgraded him to level 7. But it worked out this way. Also in the end i had everything else the same except those two mages of course. But because of the way i did it I had some leftover money that i used to set up a level 2 soldier in the upper right crossroads and then close to that soldier i put up three more level 1 soldiers. And that could have been the difference. The last guy was aproaching the end line. Thanks for a very nice guide!

For this achievement you have to accomplish finishing a map without a thief being deployed AND without losing a single crystal. This can be tough, but luckily there's a video guide for it! :)

Also this is kthili sands.

yeah, the last wave took 5 or 10 crystals (can't remember, after i lost 5 i didn't care). i accidently ungraded something that i shouldn't have and ran out of money to upgrade the thing i needed... my bad!!! pause helps a lot. not a bad video, and not a great video.

Theoretically, this is the hardest trophy of the game. You need to complete a map without losing any crystals and without deploying a thief. This trophy is a huge pain without a video walkthrough as you can't collect as much gil as you could without a thief. Every gil must be spent strategically and precisely where it needs to be spent or you will be in trouble from the get-go. Thankfully, Artimes X Walkthroughs has kindly provided a video, showing you how to get the trophy in the Kthili Sands map in W2, which you can find below:

Follow the Khalil Sands guide exactly. It seems to be the only map you can get this on without wanting to smash your Xbox.
