This should be an easy achievement. Just go to a level with beetles, make sure they are red, then go stand on one. You die, you achieve. The first level with such beetles is Backpacker 48.
The trouble is that this game at the time of writing is a glitchy mess, with achievements not popping when they should. I managed to get this on Scout level 22, but not on several levels before that. Even then, I cannot be certain whether my getting it was guaranteed on Scout 22 or whether it was luck.
Either way, once this is patched it should be very easy. For now, best of luck to you.
