The other guide posted here seemed pretty helpful, but I want to make this guide to include the names of the Lore scrolls and put where I personally found the scrolls on my crusades. Though it seems like you can get the Lore in any location. And I wanted to add some helpful info that I found on my runs.

There are 3 places to find the Lore

1) Lore Rooms
2) A Meat Room
3) RANDOM Rooms / Question Rooms


1) Lore Rooms are found in Combat Rooms in Crusade Runs.
The lore rooms/pillers are not located in really any specific part of the map. I found a piller in the very first combat room I started in on a run. The Lore Pillers also tend to be hidden in Rock Piles or Bone Piles. Like you'll have to break the piles to find the hidden Lore Piller. Rarely will the Lore Pillers be out in the open. If you have a Reveal the Map Card it will be your best friend, but if you don't, use the mini map to your advantage. If there is no room above the room your in, completely clear out everythingin that room. I've found that all the Lore Rooms found would open up directly above the room I was in.

2) Meat Room

• Offering to the Owl: (I think Darwood) Destroy the meat and pick up the Lore.

3) Random Room

• Lost Message I: (I think Darkwood) If you're lucky a room with gravestones will appear. Dig/Hit the gravestones.
• Lost Message II: (Silk Cradle) Gravestone Room. Dig up the graves again, and the new Lore appeared.
• Lost Message III: (Darkwood) Gravestone Room. Dig up the graves again.
• Ripped Note: (Anchordeep) If you're lucky a room with Monch and a bonfire will appear. Break everything. For me the Lore was behind the bonfire.

There are 15 lore items in the game

- 10 of them can be obtained in lore room, which can be found in any combat room in any zone.

To access it find you have to look for small pillar with crown on it, then attack it 3 times
(pillar is gray when found and turns red after being activated), that will open lore room for you where you have to sacrifice red heart to obtain lore item

From what i gathered, lore room only apprears on the north exit of the room, so if you're looking for a pillar look on the map, if there's already room north there won't be pillar in this room.

There seems to only 1 lore room per floor, but there can be more in whole crusade, so if you found lore room, 2nd one won't spawn till you beat the boss and continue the crusade or start new one

Also worth noting, tarrot card of telescope will show hidden rooms as one with scroll

- 3 of them can be found in graveyard, just visit ? encouters and dig

- 1 is Monch room behind bonfire, The moth NPC who also raises loyalty of your followers - this is also ? encounter

- last one can be found either in Haro room behind his tent in ? encounter OR you can find it meat room on your crusade
