Do you need EVERY coin in the game to buy all of the content? Or will you have some spare coins at the end?

There are a few missions where I'm missing a single coin and really hope I don't have to do them again...

Nothing to do with the guide, but something happened, maybe is the last patch but I didn't get the achievement even if I bought EVERYTHING, and I don't know how to get this again without restart all.

Thanks for the guide and the video , however the video is missing the coin from the tutorial , so If you are missing one coin and have second save of the game in which you skipped the tutorial go back and check it it might be one you are missing :)

This glitched on my gf as well when we were playing earlier today. Judging for Makoushu's comment, this glitch is probably related to buying everything while being player 2 instead of player 1.

I played it in single player and never got it. So I'll probably have to make a new save file and get them all again to get it given none of the other fixes have worked for me.

to anyone thats playing with DLC you need to get all the coins in the DLC as well since all the new stuff is added to the shop and you dont have enough to buy it all with just base game coins

This popped before I purchased the Broken Relic though. Seems like the achievement might ignore the DLC items even though that doesn’t necessarily equate to the achievement’s criteria.

This one is glitched for me as well, along with the all coins achievement. It might pop later like the last 2 I earned around the same time, will update if it does pop on its own.

This achievement glitched on me and didn't pop. I was playing with my brother and the save was on my brother's account. We completed all levels and finished with collecting the last hidden coins. The achievement for hidden coins popped but when we bought everything at the shop my brother got the achievement but my account didn't.

I think you do need every single coin. If you look at the guides for "get all coins in the game," they list 40 coins total, which is exactly what it takes to buy all items in the shop. I know I am one coin shy of being able to buy the last one, and I haven't gotten to the final island yet where the guides say one is waiting.

That being said, there are a few more people that have this achievement than have the "get all coins" acheivement, which is odd. Maybe they know something we don't?

The dlc seems to have fixed it for me, just opened the shop and got a coin in the dlc area, and it popped the 2 achievements that glitched out.

In order to purchase everything at Porkrind's Emporium, you will need to find all 40 coins available in the game:
- 1 coin in the tutorial
- 3 coins by talking to the NPC on the bridge at the beginning
- 30 in Run 'N Gun Levels (6 levels with 5 coins each)
- 1 coin awarded by the doughnut girl NPC in World 2 for completing the shortcut in this area (behind the birdhouse around the back of the mountain)

The Secret Achievement achievement in Cuphead worth 11 pointsContinue playing to unlock this secret achievement

- 1 coin awarded by the juggler NPC for completing at least 4 parries without touching the ground. View "Bouncing Ball" achievement for more information on how to achieve this.

The Bouncing Ball achievement in Cuphead worth 76 pointsParry five times before hitting the ground

- 1 hidden coin in World 1 (in the tree near the center after completing this world)
- 1 hidden coin in World 2 (Near the center, you will see a series of 3 trailer with a coin located behind the blue/green trailer)
- 1 hidden coin in World 3 (Near the Cala Maria boss battles, located against the wall behind a small building in the area behind the Porkrind's Emporium)
- 1 hidden coin in the Casino (To the left near the stairs)

You can now take all of your coins to Porkrind's Emporium and purchase all the available stock:

So I started this game after the DLC came out. I just popped the achievement for finding all coins in the game. I've been spending as I go and I have zero coins but there are still items for sale.

Perhaps the DLC added stuff in the shop that you need now? And maybe there are coins in the DLC area?

I don’t get it. I’ve gotten all the hidden and Npc coins, done both tutorials, defeated every single one of the king’s champions, and I’m still one coin short from buying the heart charm, the only thing standing between me and the achievement

Porkrind's Shop is where you buy weapons and charms. It also has a great song. In order to buy everything you must collect all coins throughout the Run 'n Gun levels and also some hidden ones. Check High Roller for more info. After you get all coins, return to Porkrind and buy whatever is left.

If you play the DLC version, you may accidentally buy items from the DLC. On the 4th island, coins can be found in two places:
