Cuphead

I am sure this is obtainable in the dlc, but for right now king dice (inkwell hell) works. Spin your left stick around in a circle motion while you are roaming the isle map and a genie will appear on screen. (this gives you added HP) Then Equip the twin hearts charm. When you go into king dice's you will already have 9HP. Although, the achievement will not pop until you roll two hearts in the dice game!

*edit* A lot of people have posted about the achievement popping while they had 5HP for example. This was the case for me as well! So you don't need 9HP on your screen for it to pop. As long as you just start with 9HP you should be fine! I fought one boss i rolled a heart on, then i rolled a second heart. Loading into the second boss fight, it popped. I had 5HP when it popped.

Update- I am reading, that the achievement pops if you summon the genie, take a hit on purpose during the first king dice fight to bring you to 8HP. Then if you roll on the next heart back to 9HP it will pop.

Okay so After trying all these guides and didn't work for me, I got it eventually, so here how did I get it

1) Go to inkwell hell

2) Before entering the boss make sure to spin your
left stick in a circular motion to get the double HP from the genie

3) Equip HEART charm (gives you an extra 1 HP) NOT THE TWIN HEART

4) Now go to King dice, you will spawn with 8HP, you need to roll a dice to a heart to have 9HP, Then kill the boss and roll the dice again to any number when you start the second boss the achievement will pop


This is my first time writing a guide so please ignore any mistakes

Achievement: Obtain 9 hearts at the same time

This is the fastest way I could find to obtain this achievement.

Put on the Ms. Chalice charm and go to ink well hell. You will be heading to King Dice. Before you enter his boss fight, rotate your left stick a couple times counter clockwise very quickly. This will activate Djimmi the genie and he will double your health. Head into the boss fight and roll onto the first square with a heart. This will give you 9 hearts. You must beat the boss for the achievement to unlock but you don’t have to end with 9 hearts. Once you see King Dice again the achievement should pop

Edit: OneShot has stated in the comments that you may have to get the second heart on the board for the achievement to pop

The proper way to do this is to play as Cuphead, using the Crackshot, and the Heart Ring Charm, on the King Dice boss fight. You'll need to be able to complete 2 mini bosses without getting hit, and be somewhat consistent on dice rolls to land in predictable locations on the board.

Heart Ring Charm: Earn 1HP on your 1st, 3rd, and 6th parry.
The strategy here is to have 3HP as Cuphead, earn 3HP from the Heart Ring + Crackshot Combo, and earn 3HP from dice rolls on the board = 9HP.

Start off by rolling the dice to grab the first heart piece on the board and spawn into the first fight. Complete the fight without getting hit and save your special meter for later. After the first fight, you'll have 4HP. Once done, on the board, use the crackshot special, and parry it to build parries for the Heart Ring charm. This should give you an additional 1 or 2 HP. Now, dice roll to the safe space, and then to the 2nd heart piece on the board. Here, again, complete the boss fight without being hit, and save your special meter, but don't let it max out. After the second fight you should have 7HP+, and enough craskshot special shots to bring you to 8HP. Now, just roll the dice to the third and final heart piece on the board to reach 9HP and unlock the achievement. You don't have to complete the final fight. Congrats!

Note: I know it's possible with the genie cheat, but that seems to be giving people so many problems.

So as of right now (July 1st, 2022) this achievement seems glitched for some including me, but I have gotten 9 hearts. I am sure the developers will fix it soon, but I think I found a workaround it requires DLC.

First, get Heart Ring from the shop, and second, go to King Dice, and the third spin to activate the genie. Get the bonus hearts and try to get a boss that will give you a parry move. space 1 gives a parry move with the green olives every now and then.

For me, I did Genie, the first heart space, got a parry for the extra heart, and then moved to the second heart space. Achievement popped while loading into a boss fight.

Something I would like somebody to try as I have tested it, but I have achievement popped so my record is flawed. Use the genie and put on twin hearts and then go into a fight I loaded in with 9 hearts, but given how wonky this achievement is I do not know if this would work.
