From what I heard from some people is that there is some sort of glitch that if you don't jump into the pit but you shoot to the spot above you it will beat the devil as well. Anyone can confirm this?

Seems like this also doesn’t pop if you skip the credits immediately: the Devil kill + all Inkwell Hell A rank achievements popped on my first kill where I skipped the credits right away but this didn’t. On the second go around I waited around 5-10 seconds after the credits started to move down from the initial gratitude and it popped then.

Story related. Can't be missed (final bosses are only available on Regular or Expert so you can't finish the story on Easy).

This trophy will pop after defeating The Devil.
