Xucat', the Witch is the first boss in the temple of the Serpent. She can easily be defeated with a bow from the edge of the arena.
Xucat has two attacks, both will do regular as well as curse damage.
1) drops one or more skull mines (she will drop five in your vicinity at the start of the battle).
2) fires a volley of skulls as projectiles.
If you have a bow. Dodge the initial five mines and start pummeling her with charged attacks. She will drop a random mine for every attack that lands and will fire a spread after two - three charged attacks. You can easily dodge the volley by walking out of the way (meanwhile recharging your stamina meter).
If you do not have a bow. Dodge. A lot. The skull volley cannot be parried!
Xucat will drop her special weapon (20% chance if conditions are met) if you land the final blow while she is on fire.
