How to unlock the Little Tokyo achievement in Cyberpunk 2077 - Definitive Guide

Below is an image of all the Gigs and NCPD Scanner Hustles for Westbrook that must be completed in order to unlock this achievement.

The locations on this map are the exact locations I completed to unlock this achievement. I kept track of my progress on the achievement tracker until I unlocked the achievement.

You might have to increase your Street Cred Level if a location does not appear for you. Also, this is best done right before the point of no return as some Gigs will not appear until certain story missions are completed.

I completed all of these locations at Street Cred Level 50 and right before the point of no return (right before the last story mission "Nocturne 0P55N1").

* Reported Crimes: "Table Scraps", "Lost And Found", "Crash Test", "Another Circle Of Hell" and "You Play With Fire..." will appear after you complete the Reported Crime NCPD Scanner Hustle (which is indicated by the red arrow on the map).

* "Gig: Family Heirloom" has an item (Johnny's Shoes) that must be collected for the "Breathtaking" Achievement. More information about this item can be found here:

Ugh, I'm stuck on this until CDPR releases bug fix that actually fixes Getting Warmer...the quest with Bugbear. I can't interact with her or the monitor after picking up the coolant.

I completed the last gig called A SHRINE DEFILED before I get the call. The gig remain unfinished in the list. When I tracked the gig nothing shows or happens. I have done all in Westbrook and the progress is 96%, but stuck there. How can I get the mission completed call?

Same thing happened to me with the "Until Death Do Us Part" gig. Stuck in my journal, not showing on map, can't track it... can't complete it and can't unlock the achievement. Hope a patch will fix this, or I'll wait until NG+ gets added. Not starting a new game and getting back to Street Cred 35 for one achievement.

I was stuck at 96% and couldn't figure out why, then I went to a drop point in Japantown and there was a prompt to deposit a mission item. Apparently I'd been carrying around some papers from a previous mission and didn't realize it. Once I deposited them in the drop point the achievement popped for me.

As of the 1.2 patch the Gig: Getting Warmer mission (appears to) work as intended and you should now be able to obtain this achievement if having issues in the past

After patch 1.2 launch I did get the calls missing three months ago and finish all gigs, crime reports and assaults according to the image. However the achievement still stuck at 96%. I gave up and will install 2077 for good.

Can’t get this, done all the side gigs, blue icons, no unlock. There is one quest that is bugged called “sweet dreams” does that one have to be completed to get this?

I've completed all of these and nothing was unlocking. I'm at 98%
Edit: I skipped 24 hours, and there might be a new one, or it just unlocked. It had the "bat" symbol and was above "Reported Crime: Play With Fire"

Worth noting, from what I could dig up "Family Heirloom" doesn't appear until you've both finished all of Wakado's Gigs, as well as started the main story quest "Ghost Town", up to the part where you meet Rogue, as she is the Fixer who gives you this Gig.

If you're trying to knock this out earlier then worth keeping this in mind, if you're doing this much later then it won't be an issue, but I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out why I was at 96%, the Wakado icon was at 8/8 and the fixes weren't working.

Also wanted to point out, a lot of people say with the 1.5 update the NCPD icons have been removed from the map.

Partially true, all of the normal map filters don't show them, but a custom filter will.

I am at 96% completion and the final NCPD icon is on, but I killed everything there and got the case. I cannot get that icon to go away and cannot get the achievement. I am at level 50 for both level and cred and have all other collectable achievements done. Any ideas?

Thanks David 🙂 it's also worth noting that side jobs aren't required for these achievements, so certain yellow markers can safely be ignored. I know it says as much in the achievement description but I was feeling overwhelmed by the sea of icons before noticing that I wouldn't have to do a lot of them!

FIX* You have to go to Vs apartment and sleep, then walk out of your apartment and open up your map, this will fix and show any remaining Gigs and NCPD side hustles that you are missing. Everyone's different depending on which ones you have or have not completed, this worked for me as i was stuck at 96% for the longest time and after researching other peoples guides no use but this is only solution.

I also have only Reported Crime: Crash Test - Find the dealer's stash. It's in front of me, keep jumping left/right/centre to try to open the stash, but no prompt appears. This is the last thing I need to do before I finish all NCPD activities :(
Any ideas?
-----
Edit: Right, I'm not sure exactly what I did, but I noticed that all Drop Points also showed 0 credits. I rebooted the game, nothing.... I then found online that I should skip 24-48h to reset the drop-points and to make sure all drop point related quests are completed. I did have the E$4000 paiting in my inventory, so after I skipped 48h I immediately sold that. I then went back to try to finish the Reported Crime: Crash Test - Find the dealer's stash and I could open the stash and finish the quest.... I honestly have no idea if what I did fixed it, but somehow something did...

NOTE: As Necropage33 pointed out in the comments, there is a notorious bug with the gig "Getting Warmer" which I mention below. There is a chance Okada doesn't call you, triggering the start of the gig, and all doors to the building are locked. There's currently no known fix for it. If it happens to you, you won't be able to unlock this achievement, and it potentially impacts Watson too.

Thankfully, unlike "It's Elementary", I faced no issues with unlocking this achievement. Simply complete all NCPD activities and gigs in the Westbrook area. Westbrook surrounds Japantown, North Oak, and Charter Hill. Again, just want to state some things you do and do not have to do, as well as some important things worth mentioning.

First, here is what you do NOT need to do:
- Buy any of the vehicles in the Westbrook area (it is a separate achievement, "Autojock")
- Complete the job "I Can See Clearly Now". This is not a gig, so it should not count towards the achievement. I do believe anything in your Journal under the "Side Jobs" will not count towards this, and the other complete everything achievement(s)

What you DO need to:
- Complete all NCPD Open World activities (can be found in the map, setting the filter to "Open World"). These are the light blue icons, and have labels such as "Assault in Progress", "Reported Crime", etc. Simply go to each one and complete them. My biggest tip to get these done as quickly as possible would be use the mantis blades. I found I could just rush in, chop everyone up and be done in a matter of seconds some times. Reserve stealth for missions/gigs/etc. that require it.
- Complete all Gigs (can be found in the map, set the filter to "Jobs"). Also check the Gigs section in your Journal.
- Occasionally, when you complete one of the 2 above, you get what is essentially a follow-up job. These are simple: go to a location, loot something (and others, but IIRC this was the most common type). You must complete these as well. They are also usually close by to the job/gig you just completed. In my experience, this occurs when you complete an NCPD activity, you might get an additional job (yellow icon) labelled as "Reported Crime". This is where you can gain some extra loot. Again, these must be completed for the achievement.
- Have a Street Cred level of at least 40. I completed everything with a Street Cred level of 43, so you might need to level up a bit. I noticed as I was leveling up between Street Cred level 38-43, new NCPD activities appeared on the map. Apologies I do not have a more specific number, but as you complete things for this achievement you will level up anyways, so it shouldn't be too much of an issue.
- Have started Act 2 in the main storyline (mostly so you can even access this area in the first place). At the time of unlocking this achievement, I had only completed "Playing for Time", and started progressing through the next mission "Ghost Town" to where my current objective is "Meet with Panam".

Now I do want to mention 2 gigs in Westbrook that you should be aware of.

1) The gig called "Family Heirloom". In this gig, you can acquire one of pieces necessary to unlock the "Breathtaking" achievement, where you must "Collect all items that once belonged to Johnny Silverhand". In this job, you can find his shoes. They are in the same locker the bootleg recording/bootleg shard (which is the objective) is in. To get this gig, you must be Street Cred level 37 or higher, and you might have to progress enough in the story where you have talked to Rogue at the Afterlife club during the mission "Ghost Town" in Act 2, as she is the one who calls you to start this gig. I had already done this, so I am not 100% sure if it is required or not. Either way, this gig is located in southeastern Charter Hill.
2) There is a gig called "Getting Warmer". This gig is in Westbrook; however, it DOES NOT have a Westbrook icon in the Journal. You would probably go to this one if you were looking at the map only, but if you noticed it in the Journal, you might have dismissed it. Once I completed this gig, the achievement unlocked (it was the last thing I needed to do).

This one was a lot easier and a lot less time consuming than going for "It's Elementary" (complete everything in Watson). I'll list some steps I mentioned in my "It's Elementary" guide to help you troubleshoot in case you are stuck at 96/98% even at a high level:

- While you do not have to go to the "Fixer" icon at any point, perhaps talking to Wakako could help any remaining missions appear on the map, so it's worth a try
- Really, the best way to see what you need to do (aside from the map) is to go to your Journal and look under "NCPD Scanner Hustles" & "Gigs". Look for any with the Westbrook icon and complete them.
- Go to your Shards (press start, hover over Journal, select Shards). What I did was go through ALL of them, and made sure none of them were labelled as "New". For some gigs/jobs, you do need to read specific shards that you pick up as part of that gig/job, so make sure you do that as well. You can alternate between down on the d-pad and A button to quickly read them all (or take your time and actually read them, if you are interested of course).
- I've seen some people mentioning you should clear your console's cache. I never did this, and I've unlocked the achievement. But it is something to try if you're still stuck.
- Try progressing through the main storyline slowly. It seems progressing through either a part of a mission or completing a mission entirely will unlock further gigs/jobs on the map. But also make sure you have a high enough Street Cred level!

Happy hunting!

@TJ Eliminator, I'm not sure why you and multiple others have mentioned the vending machine thing. It's a side job, and they aren't required for any achievements. Family Heirloom definitely is required though, since it's a gig.

1) Getting Warmer should be fixed in V1.05. Patch notes indicate such.

2) I had issues with starting Family Heirlooms too. I finished any NCPD scanner tasks round that area, fast travelled to a different district, exhausted ALL dialogue options in a random call with Rogue, then returned and it then worked for me.

There is a NCPD marker (Blue box with question mark) near Wakako / The Clouds. I've done it, but it did not increase my percentage. I don't recieve a follow up quest there either. I think im screwed.

Going back to a save from before I had visited the area, I did get the call from Wakako. So actually getting the call in the first place might be fixed, although saves that are bugged remain bugged. So if you have an earlier save, then you can go back and redo Westbrook and at least you won't have to start an entirely new game.

Sadly, you were one of the lucky ones, OP. Saying there isn't anything to worry about with this area isn't true. There is a notorious bug with the Getting Warmer gig in Japantown where Okada doesn't call you, triggering the start of the gig, and all doors to the building are locked. This is a YouTube video showing it with tons of comments, and a reddit thread about it. There's currently no known fix for it. I only have an organized crime mission left and apparently at some point in the game I started this mission and just left before completing probably due to not finding the last enemy. Unfortunately an enemy is stuck in a wall and I can’t kill him. Anyone have thoughts on how I could kill this person? Screenshot https://m.imgur.com/gallery/sX0jSID

I unfortunately can’t scan them to use suicide quick hack. Tried shooting the wall and they can shoot me through it but I can’t shoot them... cry

Edit- In case anyone runs in this issue- I got lucky. I used a recon grenade climbed above the area where he was stuck and just started shooting with various guns and eventually a RT-46 Burya damaged him through a wall.

So I've got an issue with one remaining 'Assault in Progress'. It's one that is SE of Westbrook, before the desert and just slightly north and under the bridge of the San Amaro St fast travel. I go there and theirs not enemies and only innocents at a camp. Can't see or find anything to kill or complete. Any thoughts?

100% FIX READ THIS* You have to go to Vs apartment and go to sleep, next day walk out of your apartment and open up your map again then you will find all and any missing Gigs/NCPD hustles to unlock achievement. Everyone is different in terms of percentage towards this area or which specific missions you may have not seen showing up on the map, this method works though.

I think this is most likely not a bug. As you progress through the story and level up your reputation, new orders appear in the territory that needs to be closed for a trophy.

I recommend making a save before completing these trophies, there is a high chance that the trophy will not appear

I started the game again. I completed the prologue and pumped up my reputation to the maximum. I completed absolutely everything that was there in this area. The trophy doesn't drop!

UPD:

The trophy dropped. It turns out that I had to go through almost the entire game, which is what I actually did in order for the last order to appear.

Grandma Wakako doesn’t call at the rescue where you need to find a cooler, it’s sad, I haven’t already tried rollbacks and time to turn, and so on. 1.06

UPD. Rolling back to almost level 16 helped, but you will have to clean the map again and upgrade your reputation. Therefore, complete this order as early as possible.

There was the same problem with the trophy, there was no call from the fixer where to get the cooler. I cleared the areas after completing the main story. What helped me was loading a save, which you do immediately after completing the main story. After loading, I immediately went to Westbrook for this order and the fixer called. There was also an unkillable NPC in the robbery in Heywood, and also loading the save after completing it. The game version was 1.04.

By Heathcliff on 20 Dec 2020 03:26
The trophy is bugged! When trying to complete the last secondary rescue mission (the place where you need to take the cooler in the bathroom), the Quest simply does not activate, but the idea is to call WAKAKO OKADA and the mission should be activated.
Not saving early, not resaving, not rebooting, not starting a new game does not help!!!
Apparently the new patch killed the mission! V 1.05

UPD
I was lucky that it was preserved from time to time. Loading the safe helped, where I had not yet bought all the cars. From the beginning I went through all the investigations and crimes, then I took up the yellow markers, as a result the trophy fell out, despite the fact that in this territory I did not buy the cars and did not complete the mission with the scavenger (also a yellow mark). But the achika fell out!!
I can say one thing for sure, that you don’t need to buy cars to get the trophy!

I messed up the order “until death do us part”, tried to wait, sleep in V’s apartment, only a new game helped, the trophy is not cumulative, to get it you need to clear the entire area, and only after this fixer “Wakako Okada” they will give the task family heirloom (where the shoes are Johnny)

"The trophy is bugged! When trying to complete the last secondary rescue mission (the place where you need to take the cooler in the bathroom), the Quest simply does not activate, but according to the idea, you should call WAKAKO OKADA and the mission should be activated.
Not saving early, not resaving, not rebooting, not starting a new game does not help!!!
Apparently the new patch killed the mission! V 1.05"

The quest was activated after arriving at the quest "Order: Hostage". Wakako called twice, first for the first quest (Order: Warm, Even Warmer), then for the second. Now my first quest is stupidly hanging in orders and cannot be done (since it has already been done earlier). Apparently, we need to wait for a patch. Sadly

Westbrook has a total of 9 orders.
You can start cleaning the area already at reputation level 15 (perhaps some orders depend on progress in the plot); in my case, starting from this reputation level, I was able to immediately close all orders from Wakako (8 pieces) and all requests for investigations (blue marks). At the same time, in the area there is an order from the Bestie “Family Heirloom”, where you need to steal the Samurai bootleg, and you can also get one of the seven collectible items needed for the “Breathtaking” trophy - Johnny's pants. This order appears on the map only after completing the quest “At the Crossroads” (Ghost Town) and reaching reputation level 35+, but at the time of version 1.06 it appears haphazardly.

The best fix for appearing and receiving an order from Bestia so far is this:
1. Come to the Afterlife
2. Call Bestia directly from there
3. Click through all dialogue options
4. Go BY CAR or on foot to the place where the quest appears - the southernmost edge of Westbrook, next to the post office
5. Answer the call

If the “Getting Warmer” order does not start in your playthrough, then you will have to accept it, it cannot be cured (in version 1.06 the problem still exists), reloading saves, resetting the console cache, sleeping in V’s apartment, etc. . The only thing that helped me was rolling back my progress to the old save for 63 hours.
