How to unlock the It's Elementary achievement in Cyberpunk 2077 - Definitive Guide
Below is an image of all the Gigs and NCPD Scanner Hustles for Watson that must be completed in order to unlock this achievement.
The locations on this map are the exact locations I completed to unlock this achievement. I kept track of my progress on the achievement tracker until I unlocked the achievement.
You might have to increase your Street Cred Level if a location does not appear for you. Also, this is best done right before the point of no return as some Gigs will not appear until certain story missions are completed.
I completed all of these locations right before the point of no return (right before the last story mission "Nocturne 0P55N1").
* Reported Crimes: "Don't Forget The Parking Brake", "Needle In A Haystack", "Dragged Up", "One Thing Led To Another", "Dangerous Currents", "Protect And Serve", "Paranoia" and "Worldy Possessions" will appear after you complete their corresponding Reported Crime NCPD Scanner Hustle (which is indicated by the red arrow on the map).
* The Cyberpsycho Sightings "Six Feet Under", "Bloody Ritual", "Where The Bodies Hit The Floor", "Demons Of War", "LT. Mower" and "Ticket To The Major Leagues" which are located in Watson are not required for this achievement. The exact locations of these Cyberpsycho Sightings can be found here:

Thank you for putting this together, it's massively appreciated.

Thanks for this, really handy. The gigs "Welcome to America, Comrade" and "Monster Hunt" lead to further gigs, "Fixer, Merc, Soldier, Spy" and "Small Man, Big Evil" respectively. I thought something had gone wrong when I had everything checked off and was at 96%, finding that the above two gigs were missing from my journal. They appeared after waiting for roughly 36 hours and fast travelling to a terminal near their location (think it was Allen St South or similar).

To obtain this achievements you need to complete all the gigs (the yellow esclamation/question marks on your map) AND all the blue ones (related to the police). You can find them easily on your map (if you have trouble finding some of them, there are plenty of videos on youtube, or check Powerpyx site, all credit goes to him and his team).
What I want to UNDERLINE are a few key notions:
1) In some case, while completing the cops quest, (basically the blue-cube icon with a ? ), as soon as you'll grab the loot, the quest will CONTINUE (usually changing name). Most of the times it's just to go to another part of the area to collect additional loot. Sometimes it may lead out of Watson, but what it is IMPORTANT, is that you NEED to complete these "hidden" parts as well. As an example, the quest WORLDY POSSESSION is under this category (but it's not the only one) and you have to complete it! Thanks to Epic Louie and the others who confirmed that.
2) There are few secondary quests (not Gigs, but proper quests) that STARTS in Watson but they do not count for this achievement, such as the fighting pits (Beat on the Brat), the cabs one (Epistrophy), the street races, the cyberpsycho (the one in Watson yes, the others no. To be more precise in Watson you have 5 c-psycho, that have their own little quest, you need to do them, but not the main one, to neutralize all 17. There is another achievement tied to that) and the tarot ones. There may be more, but those are the ones I remember. The ones tied to the achievement are the YELLOW AND BLUE SIGNS on your map. Important NOTE: you need to reach a certain street cred level to unlock all the cops and yellow pointers. For the first area should be around 35 (could be lower though). I did mine while I was around 37, but as I said it was glitched, so could be way lower.
Moreover, you do NOT NEED to buy any car for this achievement to pop. There is another achievement related to them.
3) If you started to do that before patch 1.04 (as I did), it may have happened that you finished some quests, they don't appear anymore on your map, but they are still stuck on the journal and you not have received the rewards, because Regina did not call you. That happened to me with 5 quests (I was stuck at 98% for quite a long time) and the way I was able to fix this (without reloading hours of content/restarting the game) was the following. GO FIND THE CYBERPSYCHO, it doesn't matter where in the map. Whenever you approach the area, you'll receive a call from Regina. In may case, I received the call for the psycho and the call for the reward of the quests I did hours earlier. I can not guaranteed it'll work for you, but to me that worked, after trying any other method (reboot, hard stop etc). With the patch 1.04 this shouldn't happen anymore (to me it didn't and I was able to clear Japantown way more easily). I still have those 5 quests stuck in my journal, but the achievement popped and I got my rewards.
Hope it may help someone, happy hunting!

If you fail a Gig, do you have to reload an earlier save, or does it still count?
By FightingMegaFoo on 17 Dec 2020 15:48
For me it was the Gig: Fixer, Merc, Soldier, Spy. but it will only appear sometime after doing Gig: Welcome to America, Comrade, as it was a follow on mission.

I see a lot of people saying they are stuck at 94/96/98%, and that this achievement is possibly bugged. Well, that is partially true, and I explained why below in the next paragraph. So, I wanted to provide as detailed of a walkthrough as possible for what is and is not required, and how I unlocked this achievement.
To clarify, the achievement itself is not bugged. It tracks everything accurately. The issue seems to be getting the correct gigs to appear on the map. That is the buggy part of this achievement, not the achievement itself is buggy, or that it is tracking incorrectly.
First, here is what you do NOT need to do:
- Buy any of the vehicles in the Watson area (it is a separate achievement, "Autojock")
- Complete the job "Beat on the Brat: Kabuki"
- Complete the job "Fool on the Hill" (it is a separate achievement, "The Wandering Fool")
- Complete the job "Shoot to Thrill"
- Complete any of the "Epistrophy" jobs
- Complete the job "Human Nature"
- Complete the job "The Gig"
- Complete the job "Psycho Killer" (it is a separate achievement, "I Am The Law")
- Go to the "Fixer" icon at any point (although, some users have reported talking to Regina directly/in-person helped any remaining missions appear on the map, so it's worth a try)
What you DO need to:
- Complete all NCPD Open World activities (can be found in the map, setting the filter to "Open World"). These are the light blue icons, and have labels such as "Assault in Progress", "Reported Crime", etc. Simply go to each one and complete them. My biggest tip to get these done as quickly as possible would be use the mantis blades. I found I could just rush in, chop everyone up and be done with it in a matter of seconds some times. Reserve stealth for missions/gigs/etc. that require it.
- Complete all Gigs (can be found in the map, set the filter to "Jobs"). Also check the Gigs section in your Journal
- Occasionally, when you complete one of the 2 above, you get what is essentially a follow-up job. These are simple: go to a location, loot something (and others, but IIRC this was the most common type). You must complete these as well. They are also usually close by to the job/gig you just completed.
- Have a Street Cred level of at least 35. At this level, the last NCPD activity (blue icon) becomes available in Watson. I completed my last gig at Street Cred level 37 (I did a few extra jobs elsewhere to raise it), so I'm not entirely sure if this affects what I've mentioned below, but something to keep in mind)
- Complete the Act 2 story mission "Playing for Time". This mission takes place at the start of Act 2, and completing this mission unlocks the Cyberpsycho encounter called "Cyberpsycho Sighting: Bloody Ritual", followed by an additional gig called "Gig: Scrolls Before Swine". You will need to complete these 2.
- You need to complete the job "Reported Crime: Worldly Possessions". Even though this mission takes place outside of Watson (in the Westbrook area), it does have the Watson icon, so it must be completed.
Now, at this point, I was at 98% for quite some time, and tried almost everything in my "what you do NOT need to do" section above, and it was not unlocking, so I was getting a little worried. What I did to finally unlock the last gig was progress through the story mission "Ghost Town". In this mission, you go to the "Afterlife" club and talk to Rogue. Once I got to the point in mission where my current objective was to "Meet with Panam", I noticed there as a new yellow ? icon on the map. Once I got close, Regina called me and and the gig called "Gig: Fixer, Merc, Soldier, Spy" started. Once I completed this gig, the achievement unlocked.
Some other miscellaneous things I wanted to mention:
- Sometimes, there would be a job icon where the prophet guys is speaking. I can't remember his name, but he is located near Vik's/Misty's location. You have probably heard him when you are in the area. He is quite loud! After speaking to him, sometimes a job/gig icon would appear on my map. Try talking to him as well.
- Really, the best way to see what you need to do (aside from the map) is to go to your Journal and look under "NCPD Scanner Hustles" & "Gigs". Look for any with the Watson icon and complete them. This is where you will spot the "Reported Crime: Worldly Possessions" task. If you were solely looking at the map, you may have dismissed as it is not in the Watson area, but does count towards the achievement.
- While you are doing the "Ghost Town" mission, you might also have another other main story mission to choose from: "Automatic Love". I personally did not even start this mission at all when I got the last gig "Gig: Fixer, Merc, Soldier, Spy" from Regina after progressing through mission "Ghost Town". The only reason I mention this is because "Ghost Town" has a Watson icon, while "Automatic Love" does not (it is Westbrook), even though it takes place in Watson. Just something I wanted to mention.
- Go to your Shards (press start, hover over Journal, select shards). What I did was go through ALL of them, and made sure none of them were labelled as "New". For some gigs/jobs, you do need to read specific shards that you pick up as part of that gig/job, so make sure you do that as well. You can alternate between down on the d-pad and A button to quickly read them all (or take your time and actually read them, if you are interested of course).
- I've seen some people mentioning you should clear your console's cache. I never did this, and I've unlocked the achievement. But it is something to try if you're still stuck.
- Try progressing through Act 2 (or wherever you are in the story) slowly. It seems progressing through either a part of a mission or completing a mission entirely will unlock further gigs/jobs on the map. But also make sure you have a high enough Street Cred level!
That is about all I can think of that I wanted to cover. I have not seen anyone mention the "Ghost Town" mission or the "Gig: Fixer, Merc, Soldier, Spy" gig/job anywhere, so I wanted to mention those specifically and write up this guide and compile all the other various tips I read/tried myself to help people out. This is my first every guide for an achievement here on TA, so I wanted to be as thorough and detailed as possible. I hope this helps you unlock the achievement!

Also stuck at 98%, no icons left in watson, all messages and chards read. Only icons left are the beat the bret, a bugged mission i completed (Spray paint) and the final mission. Sure hope it's not bugged but sure feels like it.
Turns out in-game fast forward time didn't do the trick that turning of the console for the night did. Indeed no bug just a little patience.

Also was stuck at 98%. All of these guides were helpful in their own way. I just started doing the things that are not necessary for the achievement (but might have actually been necessary to get that final one to become available). I WAS STREET CRED LEVEL 33 (and regular level 17) so the theory that you must be SC 35 in order for everything to show up is incorrect.

For anyone wondering what ncpd scanner your missing its not located in watson its in located in westbrook north oak and its called worldly posessions
Not a full guide, but a helpful tip: for some of the last missions I needed, the mission icons were not showing up if I was zoomed too far into the map. So what I did was zoom ALL the way out, then slowly zoom in until the mission icons showed up. This allowed me to find the last two gigs I needed. Hope this helps someone.
Is your achievement bugged? Stuck? deleting saves, angry, frustrated, disappointed....
- Follow the filtered list for all gigs and ncpd on the map
- GO TO SLEEP
- Yes, it's that simple, don't bother delete saves, resetting cache, turning off an on again (any other issues sure try that)
- There is one missing NCPD call that you may need to sleep in a bed to get to appear
- go to any of Vs apartments, sleep in the bed, wake up, check the map
Congrats, you did it 🎉

**Note: some reports are mentioning some gigs failing or not actually being completed, keep an eye out on your rewards when completing a gig, also the fixer should call you and let you know it's done but it might be a little glitched at the moment. Some gigs can also count for different areas.**

Well, what can we say about this trophy and others like it, if you cleared one area for orders and investigations, and suddenly you didn’t get the trophy, you shouldn’t fuss about it, what can happen is that there’s a glitch that we’ll all blame on if all quests have already been completed...
I’ll add one more thing, I was asked the question: “should I do blue missions?” , unfortunately, yes, there are a lot of them... in general, now that I have received all these trophies, I can say that these are exactly the same trophies for doing anything and everything... an error in the description of the trophy, or, well, requests for investigations , These are not only those that are placed in a separate tab, but also all the others that are displayed in blue on the map, namely: “Robbery”, “Crime” and “Organized Crime”. What is most interesting is that not all secondary tasks affect the receipt of these trophies.
I also want to note that my “Blood Ritual” Order got bugged, but at the same time I received a trophy for all the cyberpsychos, of which there are 17 in the game. So I think the trophy is not tied to the menu in which all tasks are displayed, but to the map, on which, if everything is cleared, the trophy will appear.
- First, some quests, minor ones, do not end immediately, since not all of them will give you a reward the same second when you have resolved the issue, but they will offer you to wander around the area, and maybe even to another area, rummage through the trash heaps, in search of that one awards. This is what happened to me, I received the trophy just after picking up the reward in the North Oak sector, which belongs to the Westbrook area;
- Secondly, you need a reputation of level 50, since some quests require you to match his coolness, otherwise they simply will not appear;
- Third, it may be that there are still quests appearing in the area, a chain of which you are just going through or will continue to go through, in addition, pay attention to blue-colored tasks such as “Robbery”, “Crime” and “Organized Crime”, since to complete these tasks, you often pick up chips on which orders and requests for investigation are often recorded;
- Fourth - if you completed all the additional quests and the ding did not happen, this is probably the bug that we are all so afraid of. But there may also be options, since if you closed, say, a quest from Regina Jones to save someone there, this does not mean that she closed it and it, the quest, continues to be fun until she calls you and won’t tell you how bad or good you did and she will still close this task for you, it happened to me that after completing the task it was not completed, the kidnapped person was released, put in a car and taken over the horizon, and the task weighs, bring But to cars or leave the territory, just wait until the one who gave the quest dials you, you can scroll through all the messages, which also sometimes activates additional quests.
If you have completed all the activities in the area and the trophy has not dropped, then get a cat, after which two orders will appear on the map.

To complete the mission Crime of Earthly Goods, you need to search the bag in the columbarium, it also belongs to Watson.

In order for crimes to be displayed on the map, you can set the filter: other and mark the request for investigation. Out of ignorance, at first I drove around the area and waited for some thread of crime to pop up.
