How to unlock the Spin Doctor achievement in Cyberpunk 2077 - Definitive Guide

Run This Town is the eleventh main quest of the DLC. Mr. Hands will call you asking to meet face to face some time after completing Firestarter. You may also have to complete some of his other side gigs before being able to start this one - specifically I've heard Heaviest of Hearts will prevent you from starting this until completed.

As of update 2.01, this quest can be softlocked due to a bug caused by killing the guards at the end of the seventh main quest, You Know My Name, while being escorted out of the Black Sapphire with Reed. The bug causes the lower entrance to the Black Sapphire to be blocked by an impassable metal security shutter, preventing advancement of the quest any further once you are tasked with going there near the end of the mission.

Patch 2.02 fixes this bug, which was the main reason I wanted to make this solution in hopes others could avoid it. The mission itself is pretty straightforward otherwise; the only other advice I'd give about it is that having 20 Cool will let you resolve a section of it nonviolently, though not sure if this is a scaling check dependent on your level. Also remember that if you do have to fight you'll be restricted to Aguilar's weapons and cyberware, but he's pretty durable and none of the fights are too tough.

Why do you have to wait between missions? Where is the fun in that?

"eleventh main quest" ....am i missing something? i keep finding articles saying this is a MAIN mission, yet i literally just beat the DLC without ever being prompted for this quest. the eleventh main quest is "The Killing Moon"

EDIT: okay, i got it AFTER rolling credits. now im just confused lol

My mistake on the order of the missions, I assumed that since (PL spoilers)

Weird that it unlocked for you post credits though, have you done all of Mr. Hands side gigs?

Yeah I finished off all the gigs as soon as the final ones became available to me. Honestly it is probably just related to how much in-game time passes afterwards. Also to be specific I got the call for the quest while driving by the Dogtown entrance in Pacifica. Mr Hands makes a comment on the call about you being near the neighborhood so that's also probably a factor in triggering it.

Is this a mr. Hands mission or a main mission?

This mission refused to appear for me after completing Firestarter (by betraying Reed). I eventually had it appear after completing The Killing Moon with the King of Swords ending. As I was driving back to Dogtown, I got the call from Mr. Hands when I got close to the Dogtown gates. I don't think the mission is necessary to complete the story at all, as it's marked on the map as a side job.

Towards the end of Phantom Liberty's main campaign, after completing the "Firestarter" main mission, you'll unlock a side quest called "Run This Town."

This will start with a call from Mr. Hands who has requested to see you. While not necessarily "story-related, cannot miss," it's pretty hard to miss. And when this quest is active and incomplete, you won't be able to take on any new Gigs either. If you try, Mr. Hands will say "V, with all of Dogtown at stake, [insert gig] can wait."

In short: finish "Run This Town" and you'll get this achievement. It doesn't matter who you pick, just finish the mission. If, however, you do need some assistance, then check out our Phantom Liberty - Who to put in charge in "Run This Town" guide.

you need to wait at least one day. Mr. Hands will call you himself. No 10 orders needed!
