How to unlock the Wall Jumper achievement in Damnation - Definitive Guide

Wall jumping is done like this: Run up towards a wall and press A to jump so that you land on the wall, just as you land on the wall press A again and you will leap off of the wall in the direction you came from.

This chievo will come naturally as you play through the levels because wall jumping is required often, but if you're impatient...

Find a spot within the first few towns you clear out of badies, where there are two walls facing each other. They'll have to be far enough apart so that you land on the ground after each wall jump. Just keep running and jumping off of each wall until the chievo unlocks

A wall-jump is an action taught to you in Arrowtree whereby you jump against a wall and vault from it to reach an adjacent surface you couldn’t otherwise reach. The action is performed by pressing at the precise point you land on the wall you want to use to boost yourself. It may take a couple of tries to master but once you get it, it becomes second nature. By the end of a playthrough you may have it or you could be 20-30 behind. What I did was play through right up to when I was scaling the buildings leading to Prescott’s Tower in the last mission and found myself at a random place and thought I would just grind the rest out just to have it out of the way. I needed 21 jumps so rather than do it 100 times the first chance you get, know that if you leave it until late then you will either get it naturally or be so close that you only need to spend 5 minutes on it.

To Wall Jump you can just jump towards a wall with the Button and then hit a again as you hit the wall. This is easily going to unlock before the end of the campaign, but, if you're in a hurry, you can just hop back and forth between two walls until it unlocks.

This will happen on its own towards the end of the game, since the game is more reminiscent of Prince of Persia, all you do in it is jump on walls and climb ledges, so it’s not worth jumping on purpose to get an achievement.
