How to unlock the Perfect Pair achievement in Dance Central 2 - Definitive Guide

While the description of this is obvious, I thought I'd note a couple of issues I had with this.

First off, with my other half on a 'guest' profile, we played a song exported from Dance Central this achievement didn't pop. We changed to a DC2 song and again, it didn't pop. I got my other half to sign in on a profile on my Xbox, after trying again with that it finally popped. To be safe, I'd recommend signing both people in and playing something off the disc and not an export or DLC track.

Any difficulty counts, so easy can be played if you wish. I'd recommend Mai Ya Hi if you're playing with someone who's clueless with the game, my other half had never touched the game before but we five starred this no problem. It's less step-y and energetic than Sandstorm, since it's mostly arm movements.

I got this a bit differently. I had my dance partner signed in under a silver profile and we were able to do Lady Gaga's Poker Face from DC1. It's much easier. We got it first go.

I had the opposite problem.. with both profiles signed in, we completed a song with 5 gold stars and it didn't unlock. I reset the box, played another song with both profiles logged in and got 5 normal stars and it didn't unlock. Finally, we reset and played without the other person logging in and got 5 normal stars and it unlocked. Best I can figure out from the above description and my experience is keep trying all the combinations and cross your fingers :)

This must be done in Perform It mode, where co-op is allowed. This can also be done on any difficulty. This obviously requires two people (don't try to use an inanimate object) since you'll both be dancing simultaneously. Assuming you're both playing on the same difficulty, you'll both be dancing the same moves at the same time throughout the song, along with the standard freestyle section. Find a partner who is adept at dancing or let your partner follow your lead. Don't think you can carry your partner if they don't know what they're doing. It'll only get you so far.
