How to unlock the Movin' Up in the World achievement in Dance Central 3 - Definitive Guide
To win this achievement, you have to score flawless on just about every move in a round of Make Your Move in Crew Throwdown. (To play Crew Throwdown, select "Dance" from the main menu, then "Crew Throwdown".) To get right to it, change the Crew Throwdown settings so that only the Make Your Move mode is used.
An easy way to get flawless on every move is to have both players stand completely still during a round. This also will win you this achievement:
as ponted out in Strator's solution for that achievement: Solution for Master Mimic In Dance Central 3
Crew Throwdown requires at least 2 players. You may be able to play alone by making kinect think there is a 2nd player but I haven't tried it. (If this works, getting the 2nd play not to move will be very easy.)

I followed this guide but the game is still saying the moves are being missed even when both players are standing perfectly still

Requires 2 people or a fake person
Make Your Move is found in Party Mode and Crew Throwdown. This actually requires getting flawless on almost every move of the routine created from moves that you and your partner create. You can do this naturally, but one lost multiplier puts the score practically out of reach. If you want to make this easier, have you and your partner just stand there or choose slow, simple moves.
