How to unlock the Up to the Challenge achievement in Dance Central 3 - Definitive Guide

From the main menu, select Live Challenges. There should be two challenges listed, one from a on-disc song, and one that is DLC. You can play either, but you must have own the DLC for the song listed to play the DLC option.

There should be three scores to beat for each challenge, marked bronze, silver and gold. Select the bronze score, play the song, and if you beat the selected score, the achievement will pop after the song has ended as the score recap is shown.

I know that you have this achievement from 2012, but I tried two times (yesterday and today) and I have the message about server down. Do you know if this achievement is discontinued? :(

I just loaded up the game to try this out and I'm also getting the server error. I'm going to check their website.

I think the servers are down again, i tried today and i can´t access neither the DLC nor DC3 lists

I’ve been playing this lately. I noticed I was able to access the Live challenges after multiple server errors. Unfortunately, after getting in, it says (0) next to both Disc and DLC. I tried flaunting a score with my dummy account and then hopping back over, but no challenge popped up. I also noticed you can flaunt your heart out, but the achievement simply doesn’t pop. Makes me wonder if service was actually discontinued even though live challenges works on occasion. I’m about half way on my grind, so I’ll continue to check it periodically, but I’m certain it truly is discontinued.

UPDATE: Today, February 7th 2016 , I got this achievement, so servers are up again.

I reccomend that you get this achievement ASAP, so if servers are down again, you don't have any problems ;)

The achievement is unobtainable. I have an answer from Harmonix, but I don't know how to tell TA moderators that update the list for unobtainables achievements from 2 to 3.

So that makes 3 achievements in this game that's unobtainable. I really wish I didn't procrastinate.

You can do this in one of two ways, though both require you to be connected to LIVE. Go to the challenges section from the main menu and you will see the scores that your friends have flaunted as well as challenges from Harmonix. To unlock this, you can either play the song and beat the score that your friend has flaunted or play and beat the song posted by Harmonix with the required score. The second option would usually be easiest.
