To get the Challenge Complete achievements, you must get 5 Stars on the Challenge, which is easiest done on Easy, of course.
To unlock each Challenge, you must get at least 4 Stars on every song between the Challenge you're trying to unlock and the previous challenge. Again, you can do them on Easy.
These are the closest thing to "Story Related" as this game gets.

Story Related would imply that it is not missable which it is. Therefore it can't be story related.

The challenges are just a medley of songs from the section immediately preceding. You must beat each of these songs in order to unlock the challenge. As such, you've already done all these moves. If any are difficult, practice that song first, but this is a relatively easy challenge and not a difficult achievement to get.
