The concentration skill is used to slow down time during class trials. It is the spacebar on mouse and keyboard, and the right bumper on the controller (thanks Brando for the information in the comments).
You just need to make it through an entire class trial without using that skill. The easiest trial to do this for would be the the one at the end of the first chapter since that trial is kind of like a tutorial.
If you don't get it, there is always chapter select if you want to go back and try again. You can also adjust the difficulty of the trials when you do chapter select.

To add to this, it is right bumper to use concentration using a controller. So just don’t touch right bumper and your good to go!
