How to unlock the Demolition man achievement in Danger Scavenger - Definitive Guide

I used grenade launchers for this to pop as it doesn't clarify you need to use explosive weapons in the description of the achievement.

This unlocked for me while shooting the dummy targets in the weapons area of the hub. It was only a few shots to test a weapon, but I must have been close to 10,000 dmg. Could be an easy way to unlock this quickly if you have an explosive weapon in the hub.

I got this achievement and I never used explosive weapons once
Maybe it got fixed?

very possible it could just mean deal a total of 10k damage then

The training dummies made this a snap. Bought a bazooka from the workshop, aimed at the center dummy, held down fire for about 5 minutes.
