How to unlock the Cyclops Hunter achievement in Dark Messiah of Might and Magic Elements - Definitive Guide

These guys are all right on the beaten path throughout the game, so you won't have to look too hard for them. However, I believe it is possible to avoid all but one of them if you sneak around them. Aside from the first one, encountering one is always heralded by getting an optional objective to kill it.

It's worth noting that there are exactly four Cyclopes in the entire game so if you miss any you're out of luck. You can see a fifth one fighting goblins in the Temple of the Spider Goddess, but you can't reach it, it's just for set dressing. Also, like basically all achievements in this game, all of the Cyclopes probably need to be killed in the same playthrough.

They are located in the following areas:

- Early in Chapter 1 you are forced to shoot one with a ballista. After you drain it's health bar it shows a cut scene of a guard walking up and finishing it off, but you still get credit for the kill. This is the only one I'm pretty sure you can't miss.

- In Chapter 7, shortly after getting your gear back, in a large quarry area.

- In Chapter 9, just after meeting Percy. He's just down the street.

- In the Epilogue, a bit after you walk past the weird glowing pit you dropped Ishtvan into (or not).

Now for some quick advice on actually killing them. They are only vulnerable to attacks to the eye. Ranged attackers will therefore have an easier time with them as they can just keep their distance and pelt them with arrows/spells until they go down. Melee is a bit trickier, as they are so tall that it can be difficult to reach them when they're standing up straight, though it is possible if you are right under them. Baiting them into attacking and moving in after is probably your best bet.
