How to unlock the Change of Clothes achievement in DARK SOULS II: Scholar of the First Sin - Definitive Guide

Rosabeth of Melfia is a petrified pyromancer woman who stands in front of a lever on the path to the Shaded Woods. You will need to unpetrify her with a Fragrant Branch of Yore.

Fragrant Branch of Yore locations:

A Fragrant Branch of Yore can be purchased from Merchant Hag Melentia in Majula for 12000 souls. Alternatively, there are other locations where you can find them if you do not want to spend the souls: at the beginning of Black Gulch after dropping through some corrosive urns, and there is one in the chest after the Lost Sinner.

To get a free Fragrant Branch of Yore early on go to No Man's Wharf, go down from where you ring the bell, and underneath that platform is a stone building (you should be attacked by a couple of fast ninja guys) Enter the building, there will be a couple of enemies and poison pots. In the far right corner from the door is a chest, this has the branch in it. Also hit the wall next to the chest, it breaks. Thanks to SK Diabolic for this location.

Start at the bonfire where the eagle drops you off after you beat the Pursuer and hitched a ride (The Tower Apart). Leave the tower and follow the route into the building which contains all the dogs and exploding kegs. Exit this building through the door on the bottom level and you'll be on a flat platform that stretches between buildings. There is a chest in the back corner of this platform that contains (among other things) a fragrant branch of yore. And watch your back as you go for the chest, these new enemy placements are fantastic. Thanks to Catatonic Nali for this location

Rosabeth's Location:

To get to her, go down the path past some rocks from the exit of Things Betwixt (toward Majula), but turn off the path to the left a bit before the archway. there is a cave entrance. Follow this and you should see Benhart of Jugo sitting on the ground, continue inside to find petrified Rosabeth in front of the lever.

Once she is unpetrified talk to her until you get the option to give her equipment. Then simply give her any clothing you want her to wear, be warned: you will not be able to get the equipment back so don't give up anything you need/want.

Not a slight against your solution at all but be careful linking to that Fextralife wiki for things like this. A lot of it hasn't been updated to reflect the changes in Scholar of the First Sin.

Good point, I agree. Unfortunately I can't remember where I picked any up off the ground, but there is definitely 1 after the Lost Sinner. If anyone has specific locations then message me them and I will update the guide, else I will find them in another playthrough later.

The first FREE branch (that I personally found) was in No Man's Wharf (If you're new, this place is fairly early in the game but very tough for new players, they have thrown way more enemies in this place haha, so take it slow).
In a chest in the room with the poison pots and just next to the breakable secret room with the lizard and other various items.

I found one in the Lost Bastille. Start at the bonfire where the eagle drops you off after you beat the Pursuer and hitched a ride. Leave the tower and follow the route into the building which contains all the dogs and exploding kegs. Exit this building through the door on the bottom level and you'll be on a flat platform that stretches between buildings. There is a chest in the back corner of this platform that contains (among other things) a fragrant branch of yore. And watch your back as you go for the chest, these new enemy placements are fantastic wink

Rosebeth is the petrified girl just outside of Majula. You eventually need to free her as part of the story to move to the area she blocks but you can technically free her at any point once you have a fragrant branch of yore. You find these during the game but they are rare. You can buy one as early as the Forest of Fallen giants as the merchant you meet there sells one for 14,000 souls. She eventually moves to Majula.

When you free Rosebeth make sure you have some spare clothing in your inventory and she will ask you for some. The trophy pops as soon as you give her the items.

After you find Rosabeth between Majula and the Shaded Woods, you will need to unpetrify her with a fragrant branch of yore. Following this she will confess her embarrassment at having nothing to wear and you will be given the option to give her some clothing. Give her any piece of armour you choose and the achievement will unlock. Next time you are in Majula Rosabeth will be wearing the items that you give to her.

She is the statue blocking the path to the Shaded Woods and you need a Fragrant Branch of Yore to free her. They can be found in a number of places:

Lost Bastille - in a chest after the Lost Sinner fight.
Lost Bastille - in a chest in the room close to Tower Apart bonfire.
The Gutter - on a group of corpses if you follow the path past the Forgotten Door location.
The Gutter - on a corpse just before entering the Black Gulch.
Harvest Valley/Earthen Peak - can find two/three from a number of chests/corpses.
Iron Keep - purchase for 7,500 souls from Magerold.
Majula - purchase from Merchant Hag Melentia for 12,000 souls.

Once she is free you need to give her some items (helmet, armour, gloves and boots) and you will then get the achievement and she will move to Majula. BE WARNED: anything you give her can't be taken back so make sure it’s something you don't need.

For this trophy, you must unpetrify Rosabeth of Melfia in Majula, just before the Shaded Woods entrance. Once you do, give her some clothing and the trophy will pop.

Rosabeth of Melfia is the same stone statue that holds the lever near Majula. To turn it to stone, you need to find and apply a fragrant branch of the past on it. Fortunately, in this version of the game the branch occurs very often; you can make a girl out of stone quite early. As soon as she can speak, she will ask for some clothes. Give her something you don't need and she'll change into it for the next meeting in Majula. It is impossible to take away from her the thing given to her.

One cap or helmet is enough. Then in Majula she will be in underwear and a hat.
