DARK SOULS II

This one is fairly simply, you have to go the "Mist Section" of the Shaded Wood, it's the right path at the fork with the bonfire. Once you're in the zone, hug the left until you can go up. You'll end up in the ruin of a round structure. Go to the pile of debris to the left and you'll be able to talk to "Head of Vengarl". Keep talking until you get a menu to buy - learn gesture - talk - leave. Select the Talk option and keep doing it until the achievement appears.

Note, if you don't know how to reach the Shaded wood you have to use the "Fragrant Branch of Yore" on Rosabeth of Melfia to remove the petrification effect and open the gate.

This Achievement is for listening to all of a certain NPC's dialogue options in the Shaded Wood. You can reach this area by unpetrifying Rosabeth of Melfia with a Fragrant Branch of Yore, one of which is located just after the boss in Sinner's Rest, and another is in The Gutter, just before the bonfire in Black Gulch.

With the way open, follow the path until you reach the second bonfire. You should be in a small, circular area with some stairs next to the fire. Go up these and you should see a few exits leading out of the area, one of which appears to be covered in a dense fog. Head in that direction, hugging the left side of the area until you can start following a new path that way.

You should eventually end up at a dead end with some rubble near the middle of the area. This is the NPC you're looking for. Talk to the rubble and he'll start to tell you his tale. Just keep speaking with him until the menu comes up, then keep selecting the "Talk" option repeatedly until the Achievement pops.
