Darkest Dungeon

Heroes will gain experience when successfully completing an expedition. If you lose or surrender/retreat from an expedition you won't get anything, not matter your progress. Expeditions will reward higher amounts of Resolve Experience depending on their difficulty and length. (see table) When your hero gets enough experience his resolve level will go up. you'll need more experience the higher the resolve level of your hero is. (see table) The higher the resolve level the higher the resistance against sun, blight, bleed, move and debuff. It also unlocks new weapons, armour and skills.
