Darksiders Genesis

This one is a bit tricky but doable on the first go-round. Before you enter, be sure that you have your Anarchy/Chaos specials ready. The entrance is just southeast of The Pit. DO NOT KILL ANY HOUNDS IN THIS AREA. As soon as you enter, go left and have your Void Bomb ready. Toss it over the gate and then hustle to the other Void Bomb receptacle and toss it there. Jump into the one you just opened and it'll teleport you to the first one. Open the gate and then go left to get the bomb. Jump back into the Void recepticle and toss the bomb at the blockade. From here, keep hugging the right wall and you'll enter the Houndmaster's location. Avoid killing the hounds and focus on the Houndmaster when he rushes you alone. DO NOT EVADE as your perks may accidently kills some hounds.

Alternatively, you can run all the way to the Epic Chest at the end of the room, have all the hounds follow you, then head back towards the entrance and climb into the cage that is stacked up high. You can get all of the hounds to freeze there as only the Houndmaster will follow you as you unload on him with Strife.
