How to unlock the Crow Carrion achievement in Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition - Definitive Guide
This will be the first achievement unlocked and requires defeating the Crow Father.
The battle itself wont pose much of a problem on the lower difficulties however can be more problematic on apocalyptic. The Crowfather is extremly powerful and his attack covers almost 360 degrees so getting behind him can still be dangerous.
The key to this battle is patience and utilising dodge. Press RB to roll as close as possible then use your quick attack no more than two or three times then immediately roll away. Repeat this process of gradually reducing his health and dont try to be to greedy.
By constantly goading him then retreating will trigger him to perform a powerful hammerslam into the ground where you will see large jagged spikes rise up from the ground, this eats his stamina and takes him a while to recover so use this valuable time to combo him and finish with a powerful secondary strike. Again though dont be greedy maybe 6 strikes then retreat.
The achievement will unlock after the cutscene.

Unmissable and part of the story line. It's the second boss you face basically and part of the prologue.
