Ok cheers. (And it was interdiction stone I was meant to say) I got up to 26 and stopped as I had no idea how to get past the blocked entrance, but will try and give it a go at some point.

If you're having trouble getting across the gap, use your soul splitter to get place yourself ontop of the golden-esque pillar, then move it next to the side you need to be on!!!! i was stuck there too!

Kingdom of the Dead (The Maw) - Resistance #3 (26/69) - 9:44

I was stuck here for a while trying to get the gates down. The solution is simple if you know what to do.
From 'The Maw' fast travel location, turn south and cross the bridge. You will find a small tower which is located west from the 'Sentinel's Gaze' fast travel location. Climb to the top of the tower and rotate the lazer lantern towards the Maw and the gates will go down.

I'm gonna be starting to go through these getting the ones I've missed later on. This guide looks great. There's one thing that I'm slightly worried about though, I don't have that indiction stone anymore due to story progression. So for these (and other collectables) am I able to get through the Judicator's tomb?

i can't remember what the indiction stone is but i got all the collectable after i had completed the story and bfore the playthough+ (just before the last battle) if your worried about having "companions" to assist with the puzzles, don't be, you can still get the collectables. i hope this helps as i'm trying not to spoil for anybody who not passed the Kingdom of th Dead

Followed the guide straight through and ended up missing 1 power stone. I ended up finding it by a chest I didnt get in the land of the dead "maw" area. Its the area on the map just right of where it says "The Eternal Throng" and directly above the "k" in "Serpents Peak". its the cul-de-sac area and you need to use both the soul splitter and phasewalker to get it. It's possible I somehow missed it in the video but don't want to go back through it to check. If anyone has the same problem as me, check this area!

This requires you to return all of the stonebites to Blackroot in the Fjord.

There should be 69 to collect
these can also be combined when handing them over to add stats to Death as follows:
3 Blue = 5 Arcane
3 Red = 5 Strength
3 Yellow = 20 Resistance
2 Blue & 1 Red= 2% Arcane Critical Chance
2 Blue & 1 Yellow = 10% Arcane Critical Damage
2 Red & 1 Blue = 2% Critical Chance
2 Red & 1 Yellow = 10% Critical Damage
2 Yellow & 1 Blue = 20 Wrath
2 Yellow & 1 Red = 20 Defence
1 Red & 1 Blue & 1 Yellow= 30 Health

I take no credit for the video, but it is good and does have them all there.

Are any of these missable?? For instance, is there anywhere in the story where you had once been before that you can no longer access due to events where a stone would be found?

For anyone thikning about doing this via NG+ be sure to turn in any current stones you have in your first game as they DO NOT carry over to NG+,so be sure to up your stats using them.

you can get the ones in judicator's tomb without the spirit control, (use the soul splitter, it seems to work).

Can you backtrack to the Psychameron? I know of one stone there, but if there were others I want to be certain I can go back.

Yeah, I figured it's the best one. I'm only leaving my solution up as it has the list of how to combine each to get different stat boosts. Thanks for the heads up though!

You know what, you'd be surprised how close you get without the guide. I picked up 98 on my first play! but second play is definitely for collecting

By PyroLoveridge on 27 Feb 2014 07:58
lol, that's always the case with collectibles, whenever you try to get them alone you end up with 99% then if you use a guide to find the last one you can't confirm them. Best to use a guide from the start on a second playthrough. With this game however I decided to get every collectible and do every side quest on Apocalyptic on my first playthrough as these particular collectibles are very useful upgrading your character.

Yes because of that info I feel your solution is now the best smile Is there no video that combines the two main collectibles, the All You Can Eat and Book Of The Dead? I'm having to jump between videos and other solutions and this game already so good that I feel like I want to just enjoy the game, but lets face it I'm not going to find all 109 collectibles without some sort of guide in a million hours.

On the Western wall of the Fjord you can get the quest “Sticks and Stones” from a golem named Blackroot. He asks you to find three different types of Stonebites for him—Mystic, Power, and Resistance—so he can be fully restored.

Here are the total number of each type of stone:

  • 34 Mystic
  • 25 Power
  • 10 Resistance

Once you have collected all of the stones return to Blackroot and speak with him. Be sure to not trade in any stones while he is rewarding you for completing the quest, because if you do it will crash the game. Wait until he is completely finished talking. He will reward you with a legendary scythe called Guillotene. It is important to note that you do not need to turn in a single stone to actually complete this quest and unlock the trophy. You merely need to have collected all the stones and talk with him.

There are multiple combinations that you can make with the Mystic, Power, and Resistance stones. When you turn three of them (at a time) to Blackroot he rewards you with extremely potent, permanent stat bonuses. You cannot undo the stats, so be sure you get what you want. I advise saving before turning them in, just in case you make a mistake.

To watch a complete walkthrough of all 69 Stonebite locations, please click the video below

Credit to PowerPyx for the video

Below are all of the combinations as well as the stats that are given:

  • 3 Mystic = 5 Arcane
  • 3 Power = 5 Strength
  • 3 Resistance = 20 Resistance
  • 2 Mystic + 1 Power= 2% arcane crit chance
  • 2 Mystic + 1 Resistance = 10% Arcane Critical Damage
  • 2 Power + 1 Mystic = 2% critical chance
  • 2 Power + 1 Resistance = 10% critical damage
  • 2 Resistance + 1 Mystic = 20 Wrath
  • 2 Resistance + 1 Power = 20 Defense
  • 1 Power + 1 Mystic + 1 Resistance= 30 Health

In the first world, in the Fjord location, a stone construct (Darkroot) sits near a rock; it gives a quest to collect stones. To collect a stone, you need to shoot it with a revolver. To get the trophy you need to bring him all 69 stones.

Video guide on stones.
Pay attention to the description under the video. There is a marking of the entire video indicating specific stones.

Important point : if you plan to go through the game a second time, then during the first playthrough be sure to collect all the stones, otherwise you will not receive many bonuses when returning the stones to the construct!

I also think it’s interesting information that by handing over stones we increase certain indicators depending on their combination:

3xMystic = +5 to magic
3xPower = +5 strength
3xResistance = +20 resistance

2xMystic + 1xPower = +2% to crit chance (magic)
2xMystic + 1xResistance = +10% crit damage (magic)

2xPower + 1xMystic = +2% crit chance
2xPower + 1xResistance = +10% crit damage

2xResistance + 1xMystic = +20 rage
2xResistance + 1xPower = +20 defense

1xPower + 1xMystic + 1xResistance = +30 health
