How to unlock the Looks Familiar achievement in Darksiders II - Definitive Guide

After completion of The Cauldron dungeon head back to see Alya at the Tri-Stone. Speak with her and after a short cut scene she'll hand over Redemption.

Redemption is a powerful pistol belonging to Death's brother, another Horsemen, Strife.

This is story related trophy that will unlock naturally during your playthrough of the game. For additional information with potential spoilers, read the detailed description below.

Once you finish the “Fire of the Mountain” quest line you will leave the Cauldron and return to Alya in Tri-Stone. She will thank you and give you the Redemption—the Horseman Strife’s pistol—as a reward. This is the very first tool that you receive in the game and is used for: killing monsters, destroying orange bombs, and last but not least, collecting Stonebites for the All You Can Eat Buffet trophy.
