How to unlock the Respec Yourself achievement in Darksiders II - Definitive Guide

The first opportunity to nab this 20g comes on your quest to find the Cauldron. You can visit Vulgrim in The Weeping Crag.

There's a Respec service you can purchase for 1000g.

It wipes clean your skill tree and allows to to re-assign acquired skills points.

Purchase "Respec" and the achievement is yours.

You can respec (reset) your skills at any time by visiting Vulgrim at any one of his multiple locations, and paying him 1000 glit (gold). All of your skill points will be refunded so that you may redistribute them as you see fit.

Vulgrim is located in the Weeping Crag, The Fjord, Serpent's Peak and Lostlight. He can also be fast traveled to in order to save you a lot of time.

Important Facts:

  • There is no limit to how many times you can respec throughout the game, or within a given time period.
  • You must have all of your skill points currently distributed to use the respec. If you have unspent points he will not do it.
  • Despite it being named the "Respec Token" it is not an item that you can take with you. When you pay him he automatically resets your skills.

To get the trophy you need to reset skill points from the merchant.
You can reset as many times as you like.
