Darksiders III

Envy is the first boss fight you'll encounter in Darksiders. This battle will consists of three stages:

Each time when Envy looses 1/3 of its health, the ground will crack open, forcing you to a lower level. You then have to jump and swing on and over platforms. Try to reach Envy as quick as possible, so it won't have time to charge an very damaging attack. Once you've reached to last platform, jump towards Envy and hit the square button three times, forcing it to the ground and continue your battle repeating the previous.

The video below shows the battle against Envy. If you're playing on a higher difficulty level, you'll have to time your dodging very well. Note that there are three types of attacks Envy will use:
- a low swing with her staff, jump or use 'R1' to dodge this (counter attacking will give some extra damage points).
- she raises up her staff, creating a circle near you triggering energy blasts. Use 'R1' to dodge this.
- she falls from the air, creating a shock wave. Jump to dodge these.
