How to unlock the Battle Hardened achievement in Darksiders Warmastered Edition - Definitive Guide
morph Xlive solution works but I did my achievement in a different way to his solution which in my opinion, instead of doing the same route over and over again I have found a way to do this achievement easier by constantly spawning the spiders in the first room on the video shown in the first solution when you have killed all the spiders in that room instead of opening the webbed door turn back around and climb back up the wall you started at and run or dash to the part where you go back outside the building and turn back around and go back to the first room the spiders should respawn in exactly where they where, hopefully this tip has helped you and saved you some time
For this achievement you have to level up every weapon:
-Chaoseater
-Tremor Gauntlet
-Scythe (there is two of them), check NOTE 1 below
and buy every weapon moves then upgrade them to lvl 3
-reforge Armageddon Blade durning story
NOTE 1: People are reporting that they needed to level up both Scythes but i havent use even a single time regular Scythe because I took Harvester first. Even so this achievement poped right after reforging Armageddon Blade
The best place to do it is Iron Conopy, just kill all groups of small spiders in every room.
Achievement should pop when you forge Armageddon Blade, or buy last upgrade from Vulgrim with the Armageddon alrdy in your inventory.
some tips:
-use War's Glory on the weapon you want to level up
-use Death's Blessing on the other one
-use Combat Lore on third
-don't use combo moves for Scythe, its more time consuming just 2-hit and small break
-for Tremor Gauntlet use combo Hold RB+Y
The route is very simple. Kill every spider in every room on the route. You need to run from point A to B, then from B to A.
A is the corridor which leads to Iron Conopy Boss
B is some knd of elevator shaft with few ledges (around 3:00)
These are your mob respawn points, in A you need to enter this corridor, let the door close, then you can go back, in B first you are going up then use some ledges to go back (mobs will respawn in the alley). Just check the video and you will know what i mean.

Hello guys, I was a bit unsatisfied with the posted guides on this achievement, because it still took way too long to level the weapons up, so I dug a bit deeper and found a better method. I made a video tutorial based on a guide that I found on the steam forums ( https://steamcommunity.com/app/462780/discussions/0/12918165... ). The text guide by crimsonrider is already pretty good, but it lacked some explanation where to go and what to do, so I made this video:
It shows EXACTLY what to do and please don't be afraid of the running time. I show two complete cycles of the method. One with commentary and the following without.
Also, for the achievement you basically should use the Scythe/Harvester and Tremor Gauntlets as often as possible after obtaining them in normal play. You will get the Chaoseater through a story event automatically to level 4. There is no need to grind it out, so use your alternative weapons as much as possible to save time.
With this method, it took me ~30 minutes to max both weapons out.
And yes, please excuse my bad English in the video. It isn’t my native language and I tried explaining while playing, which isn’t exactly easy. Especially during a terrible heat wave. :D

Works great, thanks for the guide. Just don’t do more then 14 or the game will crash! Btw you speak English better then most English people so no need to apologise for your accent, that’s a huge accomplishment to learn another language fluently!

Amazing solution man! A very very quick and painless method to grind this! +1

Hello, everyone. Here are the best solutions that combine the other options
First, on the question of two sickles, I think you have to choose one of the two sickles, and once you choose one, don't touch the other
Second, for a quick way to get upgrades, I recommend you do it in Iron Conopy(spider nest)
Third, do not fear death, death will not cause you EXP loss
The detailed steps:
1,Please come to the gate leading to the boss (whether you unlock/kill/fail to kill the boss)
2,Equip your most needed weapon with War's Glory,Other weapons fitted with Death's Blessing and Combat Lore are shown below
3,When facing the gate, jump into the hole on the right,And kill all enemies below
4,Return the same way, and when you step in the shadow under the gate, jump into the hole again and repeat the previous step
5,Repeat until your weapons are fully upgraded

Thanks to "Dark Devil Wolf" who suggested a simplified version of the guide by "morph Xlive", from TrueAchievements.
For this achievement, there are two parts: max out your weapons and purchase all of their moves.
The first is the worst.
1) While you should put any weapon XP into either the Scythe or the Gauntlets as early as possible (I highly recommend having the Scythe be the first thing you buy), there is no point in focusing on training the Sword as you will get an end-game item that maximizes it automatically.
2) Wait to do focused weapon XP farming until after you reach the Iron Canopy.
3) Once you reach the Iron Canopy, get "War's Glory" (In a chest near the northwest of the map; available after you gain access to the path leading to the boss fight against Silitha) and equip it to the weapon you want to focus on.
4) Go to the entrance of the path to Silitha's lair (the spot that had a magic barrier showing five spider symbols blocking the path); from there head South and jump down the ledge with demonic growth and enter the room there.
5) Lure the spiders there (in you preferred way, whether running through or just shooting once at a couple), exterminate them all.
6) Follow the path backwards, up the demonic growth towards Silitha's Lair path. Take one step past the light grey flooring and walls, then turn around and return to the room with the bunch of spiders. They will have respawned for you to wipe out again! (If they don't, you needed to walk just a tiny bit further).
7) Repeat until your weapon is maxxed out, then switch to the other one!
For the Sword, it will get instantly maxed out when you complete the Armageddon Blade, so don't waste time trying to level it up faster.
Fortunately, by the time you finish this you should have TONS of souls to give to Vulgrim in exchange for all of the weapon moves, so that part is super easy!
Note: If you are able to get your hands on the Harvester (which looks different and gives +10% Souls... but is not available via proper gameplay on PC versions), note that while it does take the place of the Scythe it is treated as the same weapon as far as this achievement is concerned.
