This achievement is story related and cannot be missed.
Once you've defeated Griever you'll need to make your way back to Anvil's Ford. There you'll have a cutscene with Ulthane and he'll reward you with the Mercy firearm. Another weapon to add to your arsenal.

Shortly after you defeat Griever you will come to a cutscene with Ulthane. In it he gives you Mercy, a special spiritual based gun, as a gift of sorts. After the cutscene concludes the trophy will unlock.
