i have a problem.. i already did all that.. but when i try to upload a video.. it encodes but right when it says uploadings it kick me out of xboxlive ¬¬ help!

Same thing's happening to me. Didn't Third Strike have a similar issue where You Tube wasn't working for it at launch?

Ah, I think I figured it out. You need to create your own channel on You Tube first, otherwise it'll fail every time you try to upload.

Yeah, that's the point mentioning you must really have a Youtube account in order for it to work.

^So something changed to make it unobatinable? Yeah, I know, stuff/times has changed, but its been since around 3 years since DS-R has been released.

Actually, once they're uploaded to your channel, the video's are set to private viewing. I've noticed this myself.

There's a distinction between having a You Tube account and having your own channel. I had a You Tube account for years but never uploaded any videos, so I didn't have my own channel. You need both a You Tube account and your own channel for this.

Make sure you're trying to upload a video of a match you actually fought in. It appears you can't upload replays from other people, just your own fights.

A hint. For a quicker encode and upload, save a replay of a match that has been started through a Rematch. That way you will skip a character select screen and the match will be shorter too. :3

I have a problem the "Authorize Youtube Account" button is greyed out. my console is linked to my account, but i cant seem to select the option in game. and since i cant select this option in game i cant select to upload it to youtube.

Same problem as Mariozangetsu. Does anyone know if they took down the ability to do this? (for people that have not already set this up) If so this is unattainable!

Ok figured this out and needs to be noted. If the selection in game is greyed out exit to main dashboard. Go to Settings and select Privacy. Pick customize and make sure Social Network Sharing is allowed. Save and exit. Now restart Darkstalkers the option should no longer be greyed out.

When signing into YouTube with my gmail account I would get a prompt to use my years old alias or use the alias with my gmail account. When using the old alias, the game would fail to upload because apparently it couldn't find the channel. Once I signed into YouTube with my gmail alias and set up a channel with that alias, it worked fine.

It depends, it worked fine around release, but now it sometimes work, or it doesn't...

It seems he had the same problem I did, and he got it working. A YouTube channel using an old account may not be visible to the game. A YouTube channel that's more Google friendly, so to speak, works fine.

I would like to add that this achievement is ridiculous, I've been fighting on YouTube and Google+ to get things situated. I can't change my username (one of my biggest complaints) among other things. I don't have any replays to put up, but once one of my friends gets Darkstalkers, I'll check if I can upload it.

I seem to have DannyBoy2k9's problem.

I can confirm this works now. I deauthorized my Youtube account (couldn't even do that before, it didn't find the server) and made a new Youtube channel just in case, since my old one was pre-google plus and all that crap.

Same as DannyBoy2k9 here. Authorized the account just fine, but after the video replays and encodes, it gives me the "upload error" messages and fails. Unfortunately, I can't even deauthorize the account like JerkXDeuce (gives me the same "Darkstalkers Resurrection service isn't available" error), so I may be stuck on this one.

I've had to delete my data, now I can't even authorize my account. I keep getting the message of "Sorry, the Dalkstalkers Resurrection service isn't available right now. Please try again later" whenever I try.

Okay, just tried it again and I was able to upload all five successfully. Not sure if it takes some time for the wheels to start turning or if I just happened to catch it on a bad day.

If someone know why my console freezes when i press "upload on youtube" - let me know solution about fix this problem, thanks.

its not marked discontinued achievement from TA give the server some time or ask Capcom about their game because this silly achievements only existing om xbox 360 version ps3 doesn't exist they have only 20 trophy while xbox 360 have 30 achievements

Both me and a friend kept trying.

I have reported it as discontinued/unobtainable. So far no changes made! lets see how long it takes for TA to edit it.

I recently purchased this game from a recent sale and I am disappointed that this achievement may now be discontinued. I checked my privacy settings, created a new YouTube account, and tried uploading to YouTube at various times. -_-

I keep trying to upload and I'm getting "upload failed" :(

Whats bad is that TA has yet to update the achievement as discontinued. I hope they can do that soon.

When I've got this achievement, I needed to unlink my youtube account (created just for this game) and link it again.
I've noticed a name change on their side, I mean, the youtube account name authorized to upload stuff for you, changed.
So you people without the achievement could try unlinking and going to the youtube settings to link again.

The server is down you can only upload to the match server but the achievement need youtube account its impossible now and its exist only on xbox 360 version not ps3

Yeah I've tried two times before unlinking account and more two times after linking it again. The Capcom youtube account is the same this time, but the upload continues to fail.
I don't know I'll try later with a shorter match. I don't think there is a server to be down, just a youtube service.
Oh I should've uploaded 3 videos before. I'm at 7/10 to complete the third tier. At least I have the achievement. n_n'

Damn! It's not looking good at all! I got no reply from iron galaxy and capcom!!! But then again I still don't know if I have the right email address, I contacted Capcom Europe

I'm hoping the Darkstalkers YouTube servers get fixed. This is the last achievement I need to complete this game. :(

I am legit upset about this one being currently unobtainable.

I own this game but don't want to start it unless all the achievements are obtainable. If this isn't fixed I will be pretty upset with Capcom for screwing up this classic fighting game. Hopefully this is fixed.

Well, TwistedTB, didn't you bother to read the replies that other users can't get it now? Also, I doubt you'll have the paitience to do the character specific ones as well, cause they're not easy for everyone.

Cause honestly, it would be real nice if I can just stop getting messages for a solution/achievement that's already been unobtainable. Its getting real annoying.

You can unsubscribe from notifications I believe. Maybe not if you are the solutions author. I just wanted to comment so that I will get notifications if there are any developments or the status changes on the achievement and it becomes obtainable again. Maybe the game will get back compat and they will fix the Youtube link, You never know.
And NeoStrayCat, if you are getting annoyed, perhaps you are the one that lacks patience, and should not be so judgmental of other gamers. Have a good day sir.

Not a solution but an observation. I've been playing Darkstalkers Ressurection on PS3 to unlock some of the Awards, and I noticed that despite the YouTube not working, the TIER progress was still working. Can anyone confirm this works on the 360 as well as pops the achievement?

Well Kronos, I'll look into it with a dummy profile if/when I have the chance, unsure if it'll work, but it doesn't hurt to try.

It looks like Youtube verification is working so you should be able to get this achievement again now. I would get it as quickly as possible as the servers were unavailable for years.

Hey Rainking, I tried as you suggested but also if I passed the check, the game doesn't let me upload replays on youtube. Maybe this achievement is still discontinued for now

The game gives me device code like usual, but its the youtube it thinks its sensitive info and google just blocks the linking device from the game. Also I was someone that did these on ps3 long time ago

I contacted Google about this issue and i hope they fix the issue on blocking the coding from Darkstalkers Resurrection to connect to Youtube authorization linking

But I think it's not working anymore. Try searching for VR, Vampire Ressurrection, on the japanese website.

Maybe if Capcom contact them. But it's probably some paid feature and Capcom will not pay for it anymore?

The official site no longer exists outside of having to parse the link through Archive(dot)org's Wayback Machine. Other than the notice of official discontinutation of YT uploading from that date forward, yeah, seems that this achievement is no longer possible to earn.

Lets not have that put in stone yet though, its a until then thing if it will work again. Someone that got the achievement in 2016 told me just now that the uploading was actually still working in 2021, just gotta keep trying and checking until it works. Also i was able to receive device code in the youtube integration feature of Darkstalkers Resurrection, but the only part was Google disabling the lesser secure app access toggle in security for now. But they might turn it back on

I see, well, if anything else comes up, let me know. While it feels like a trial and error situation, things don't look good if Capcom officially announced and/or disabled the function outright way back in 2018.

Well, many people had the Youtube authorized before. I made it twice myself. I noticed that it changed the Youtube name too, from something that I don't remember to "IGS youtube" (can be seen on the youtube account website), and an Iron Galaxy email (I posted about it in 12/mar/21 on the forums). Maybe Iron Galaxy can fix it? But I have tried several times, it keeps blinking the internet lights for some minutes in what it seems to be uploading, but when it finishes, it returns the error. And no progress is made, I have unlocked the achievement and made two more videos, so I am with 7 successful uploads. Not sure why the playstation would allow progress and the Xbox wouldn't. I will try to upload more, since I have 22 videos saved.
Just remembered that it's still possible to save videos, just by doing a ranked match.

I have it, and somehow i was able to upload 3 videos, then the fails return XD, and what do i find out? that the 3 videos on my YT channel are not in the right format so nobody can see them ¬¬

I've done everything Neo has mentioned in order to upload the videos but, I just can't to get it to work.

I have created my own YT account, uploaded 1 video to my channel, authorised the device by entering in the code but, everytime I try to upload the option is greyed out.any ideas?

I had a ton of problems getting You Tube uploading to work, and I'm not alone - there are several threads on the Capcom Unity forums from people in the same boat. And there were also issues with not being able to find regular replays when searching for them ingame...

...but, good news! With the release of USFIV (including its new youtube upload feature) Capcom/google seem to have addressed the issues, and fixed the replay features in Darkstalkers and SFIII!

...the only problem now is finding people online to fight against to create the replays I need to upload

its not discontinued this achievement available in SF3 strike online edition upload the match to the server it will unlock you can upload your matches to server its still working instead youtube account

I'm not judgmental (and I don't lack paitience, I'm hardly on the 360 or on the X1 lately), but, well, I'll look into the notification thing however.

For me it's not raising the progress of Sharing is Caring. I've tried right now with a new movie saved of a ranked match I just lost () some minutes ago with a random and my progress is stuck in 7/10. I have the achievement but for those who don't, I don't think it will unlock.

So, I recently got this on PS3. Basically what happened was I kept getting errors concerning Capcom's service, but eventually one tried to process. It then said "upload failed," but I still got a point toward the challenge, popping the trophy. For the sake of it, I actually maxed out the challenge after getting the trophy this way by being persistent. Xbox 360, However requires you to authorize a YT account from the options menu, where, should you get past any Capcom service errors, you're given a code to verify through your Google account, which is promptly flagged and blocked as a security threat. Were it not for this you'd probably still be able to get this achievement. I've been looking for ways to circumvent Google's authoritarian bs, but much like their search engine, it thinks it knows me better than I do. Either way, Capcom's statement on their service bears no weight, it's just Google being awful.

Just now Google replied and told me to try uninstalling and reinstalling but i don't think thats the solution to fixing the connectivity allowance from google thinking its not suspicious sensitive info to allowing the authorization linking to work. Also google told me to use the Youtube feedback system in profile of the situation and how it block the access for authorization. Also i noticed the real cause to why i cannot fully authorize Darkstalkers Resurrection from connecting to the Google, because Google disabled less secure third party app access in your security settings... Hope more ppl here ask Google so they can have the toggle to turn back on.
