Super Saver requires you to save up five bars of super meter. You'll need to do this 20 times in total in order to complete the third tier of this award. I personally earned this in Darkstalkers 3, but it can be earned in either game.
As for tips to earn it, just turn the difficulty all the way down and choose any character. I usually go with Demitri, but it's up to you. Now simply repeat any of your chosen character's special moves until your bar fills up five times. Once that's done, you can feel free to win the round. It also helps to set the rounds to 3 and the timer to infinite.

It can be done in both games. I've seen it pop up in Night Warriors and the award menu shows the challenge colored for both games.

But for some reason I couldn't do it in Darkstalkers 3 only Night Warriors sure it does it for both though my meter was on going to 3 and it would stop.
Oh and I put the rounds on 3 and the damage and difficulty on 1 star as well as timer to Infinite.

Complete the third tier of the award "Super Saver".
You must obtain 5 Super Meter Bars at a time. So for every 5 bars you obtain, 1 point into this challenge is added.
The easiest method I found to do this was to do a Local Match in Multiplayer. Have the timer set to Infinite and just continue to use your Medium and/or High Punch/Kick as that will fill up your bars.
I personally done this in Dark Stalkers 3 and watch my bars keep stacking up 20+. check out my progress in the awards to see that every time I obtained 5 bars, 1 point was added to my progress. So 20 bars in the match gave me 4 points towards the 20 I needed to obtain.
Overall, doing this method you need 100 bars stacked for your 20 points. Turbo Controller should make this faster as well.
