This will most likely come naturally as you play. Loot chests are scattered throughout the map of each match. They are blue and have a shiny aura around them (similar to choppable trees). Do note that the Headhunter Drone class will allow you to loot chests from a distance with LB, while the other two classes can aid you in reaching higher chests via jetpack or grapple.
