How to unlock the Have an Ice Day achievement in Dauntless - Definitive Guide

This Achievement is pretty much unavoidable as long as you continue progressing through the story. You will eventually get to a mission called the Farslayer's Apprentice which requires you to defeat two FrostBack Pangars. This enemy is essentially the big bad version of regular Pangar who you should already have experience with. Make sure to take fire weapons and frost armor to have the type advantage and as long as you have a solid squad with decent gear this should be pretty similar to beating Pangar.

This achievement is part of the main story of Dauntless. Keep accepting quests from NPCs with yellow exclamation points over their heads and working on those requirements to progress the story. Eventually you will unlock the Frostback Pangar hunt with a quest called "Farslayer's Apprentice" and need to kill two of them. Be sure you bring a fire-type weapon and wear frost-type armor to have the best chance of success.
Note: There's also a chance this behemoth could pop up in the Escalation playlists.
