The one I built first is the Godhand: It is an Exotic weapon crafted from Rezakiri reagents. The blueprint is obtained by collecting the lore item Martyr's Reach.
Ingredients:
Rams (x5,000)
Cracked Biocrystal (x5)
Rezakiri Chitin (x12)
Lustrous Tailplate (x15)
Luminescent Chitin (x10)
Cataclysm Shard (x5)

I believe your guide is outdated I collected the lore item and was not presented with the godhand weapon

After you find the lore Martyr's Reach you get a quest to build it from Xelya.

Exotic items are unique in that you need to find a piece of lore to unlock the blueprint that allows you to craft them. Outside of that, the process remains the same. Kill monsters, get parts, craft.
