How to unlock the What Doesn't Kill Me Makes Me Stronger achievement in Dauntless - Definitive Guide

To unlock this you need to research it first in the Slayer's Path. Then build it at the Omnicell Crafting.

After built, equip it and then when the Cell is active, perform 100k damage, which isn't too bad overtime. Be careful, when active all healing is disabled but damage is increased. It's a powerful high-risk, high-reward Cell.

Ingredients:
x2) Shadowtouched Shocktooth A common drop from the Head of a Shadowtouched Nayzaga
(x5) Shadowtouched Sparkscale A Common drop from the Leg of a Shadowtouched Drask
(x2) Tenebrous Tailplume A drop from the tail of an aether-charged Bloodshot Shrowd
(x15) Phoenix Opal An ingredient in many potions and aetheric devices
(x1.5k) Rams The common currency of the Shattered Isles.
(4) Twisted Shadowspur A common drop from the Leg of any Shrowd
(1) Unstable Nullhide A Rare drop from slaying any Riftstalker

If it helps, next to the Behemoths heart in the top right of the screen, you'll get a blue icon when they go aether-charged, and an orange one when they're enraged.

I don't even understand what this means.

The bloodshot shrowd is a behemoth variant, and when fighting it can enter another mode (that isn't enraged) called aether-charged. This is when a behemoth takes on additional characteristics similar, but different to enraged, and makes it look slightly different. With Bloodshot Shrowd, it covers itself in a shimmering black-like coating and you have to break the tail during that.

Thanks! I've been fighting Bloodshots and haven't had a single drop and couldn't figure out why.

That's awesome. Saw the colors but never knew what the difference was. Thanks!

I can't for the life of me get a drop though.

Anyone have tips for getting the Bloodshot drop? I can barely survive these things much less get a drop by cutting tails. This is my last achievement and it's pissing me off. Nobody ever likes to help me fight them so soloing is not fun.

Imo, it's one of the hardest bosses in the game right now. It's an absolute pain to fight, and personally I only got it by just luckily grouping with people and spamming the 'focus on tail' message in the quick chat.

The Revenant Omnicell is a unique piece of equipment that will only fit a very high-risk/high-reward playstyle. It draws your own lifeforce to deal out large amounts of damage, and returns it via lifesteal after the effect ends. However, because you drain a ton of your own health while the ability is active, you run the risk of dying from enemy attacks before getting your health back at the end of the skill. For more info on this, and the items required to craft it, see HERE.

All damage done while in Revenant state counts toward this achievement, so it should unlock fairly quickly while using this ability, especially if you already have a Level 20 proficiency in a weapon and are doing high-level hunts. I thought at first it would only count the tendril damage, but luckily that is not the case.

in the penultimate map, twilight sanctuary , a lvl 21 bloody shroud wanders during the event.
You need to cut 2 tails from it for omnigen.
It is not indicated when selecting cards..
in the last map, bloody shroud is the strongest boss in the game (since I didn’t see anyone kill him)... you can try it, but I don’t recommend it.
