For me this didn't unlock when I got the penultimate achievement (watching the credits till the end). I had to quit the game and load the autosave, which caused this achievement to pop.

I've played this game tons of times as a kid, so I wasn't afraid of missing out. I don't suggest you use this if it's your first time playing this game.

I got every achievement, but this one doesn't unlock for me. I tried quitting and restarting the game. Loading the old auto-save. Also starting a new save file, but none of this things helps to unlock it.

It is not up on True Achievements yet, but I already got that. I beat the game again from start to finish in somewhat half an hour and still no achievement :/

EDIT: Okay, I got it. I booted it up on my Xbox and then it popped right away on the title screen. I initially played through the game on Windows 10. So if anybody ever has the same problem, maybe thats why.

Didn’t unlock for me at first but quitting the game and reloading a save point like the others suggested did work.

I can confirm. If you're having trouble getting the achievement to pop: Quit out to xbox screen, reload game and load save.

Press start on the game then quite so it dashboards. Load up game then straight onto autosave. Should work

Thanks for this, I nearly lost my nut when this one didn't pop.

Bit of added info, I hadn't finished the Master Plumber achievement, so had to start a new game just to get that. It was my last cheevo, and after using this method the OCD popped, so you don't have to be at the end of the game.

Same here. After watching the credits I quit the game (as in, close the app on Xbox), reload the game, load up the autosave, and bob's your uncle.

I had to do this too. I got the 2 maniac mansion ones last, dashboard quit out and loaded the auto save from where I accessed the computer to start maniac mansion and it unlocked

I didn't even have to quit the game. The last other achievement I got was for beating the game without skipping any cutscenes. The credits ran, I pressed A, went back to the main menu and loaded the auto-save. Blip blip.

Like a previous commenter stated, you don't have to fully quit the game. It should unlock after you load your most recent save.

I played through the guide on PC and this didn't unlock. I reloaded saves, started new games, played through the end again and never got it to unlock. I had to download on my xbox, sync the saves, and load up any of my PC saves there for this to unlock.

So if you only have a PC, beware of this achievement as you may not be able to unlock it!!!

Perhaps the most important note about getting platinum is to not skip the cut scenes from the very beginning, otherwise you will have to go through the game twice.
