How to unlock the Runner achievement in Daymare: 1998 - Definitive Guide

I completed Daymare:1998 with three playthroughs.

1 - Normal Difficulty / Classic 90s Mode
12 hours. No walkthrough, just trying to enjoy the game.

2 - Daymare Difficulty / Modern-Take
5/6 hours. I followed a walkthrough to mop up the collectibles I missed.

3 - Easy Difficulty / Modern-Take
3 hours. If you know the path, skip riddles with LB and just shoot/avoid everything you will easily beat this in under 4 hours. I made several mistakes and did not make a perfect run at all, and I made it in 3 hours.

Hey. Something I discovered over on PlayStation last year by accident, seems to work on the Xbox version of the game too. Your in-game save file timer seems to reset at 24 hours, back to zero. So if you leave your game on pause (timer still runs) at the final Save Terminal (this is literally just after the missable 4th of July achievement), then once it resets (you can check your current time by saving the game), finish off the remainder of the game to get the achievement.

Obviously, it's quicker to run through the game again than to leave your game running for hours. However, if you're going to sleep or have work, you can leave this on then check on it when you're back.

Anyways, not sure if you want to add note of this in your solution or not, I just thought it'll be worth a mention though.

12/05/2022 This still works.
Had 10hrs in my main save file, left the game on pause at the final boss confrontation. Came back 15hrs later and the achievement unlocked as soon as the cinematic started.

Doing a speedrun would be faster, but this way you can be sleeping or whatever.

I wish someone would make a full 100% walkthrough guide on this game.
