I unlocked this cooking fat I picked up in a house.

It is required to hunt an actual male deer? Cause I just got a female one and cooked the meat but achievement didn't pop at all, not even the other one for using the knife to get the meat. 😞 Also tried with Wolf meat but same result. Any advise? I should keep trying looking for more male deer or other animals?
Edit: Just tried with chicken meat and nothing. I didn't realise until now that I still had one more last piece of Venison meat from yesterday on my backpack placed on another longstick, so I tried with that one again and inmediately the trophy popped without issues finally. 😁
