How to unlock the Survivor Mason achievement in Dead Age - Definitive Guide

During the course of a playthrough of Dead Age, you'll be able to get everyone in game to join your camp minus three people (so you can get max nine of twelve characters in one run). Of the missing three, two will be from the "random pool" (listed below) and one will either be James or Mary (when you do the mission to save one, the mission to save the other disappears.
The list of random characters is as follows: Bill, Hank, Lydia, Jamal, Jennifer, Larissa, Liz
Fortunately, Mason isn't on this list, so you're guaranteed to get an opportunity to add him into your camp every playthrough, starting Day 22.
Mason
On Day 22, the City (Day and Night) will open up. You'll get a mission called "City Business" where you have to solo your way to Area 4 of City Day. Make sure you have some healing with you as this can be a tough slog, as the City is noticeably more difficult that the Woods or Highway. Once you reach Area 4, the Sheriff will join you and you'll fight three waves of enemies. Upon completion, Mason will join your camp, although his related achievement won't unlock yet.
On Day 24, Mason will ask you to rescue his girlfriend. To do this, bring Mason with you to City Night. At Area 10, you'll need to defeat several waves of undead, though Sharon will join you during combat. Successfully defeating these waves will return you to camp, adding Sharon to camp and unlocking both Sharon's related camp achievement and this achievement.
