The Chaos grenade is not available with any of the regular classes, so you need to create a custom class for this. Do this by selecting hideout, and then create loadout.
I assume you can use any class - I created a medium class to boost the M4, and then in grenades, selected the chaos grenade. It will cost $1,000 from memory to unlock, so this should not be a problem.
To boost, I would recommend free for all on Pier 70 with bots.
The grenade itself is useless, just emitting sparks as far as I can see, so chuck one at the start, and keep collecting ammo packs and grenades from killed enemies, so you can throw more than one per life.
