How to unlock the Adept Haddie achievement in Dead by Daylight - Definitive Guide
to get this achievement you'll need to escape a trial using Haddie and her three personal Perks Inner Focus, Residual Manifest, and Overzealous, you need to be at least level 10 to use all three perks, using Items and add-ons and offerings do not void the achievements
The minimum requirement to get Adept Haddie is to have Haddie at level 10. This way, you can have 3 perk slots, and use one of her Uniques in each. However, this will make it more difficult to get the achievement, as you're likely going to have all three of her perks at level 1, unless you're lucky and manage to get one or two of them to lvl 2.
Haddie's perks are as follows (Perk descriptions taken from the Dead by Daylight Wiki1):
Inner Focus - You can see the Scratch Marks of other Survivors within 32 meters of you.
Whenever another Survivor loses a Health State within 32 meters of you, the Killer's Aura is revealed to you for 3/4/5 (at Level 1/2/3, respectively) seconds.
Tips: Honestly, this perk is decent at best. 32 meters is a good distance, so you can see the aura of the killer when one of your teammates is damaged somewhat close to you. Seeing the scratch marks likely won't be of much use in most cases.
Residual Manifest - After a successful Killer Blind, the Killer suffers from the Blindness Status Effect for 20/25/30 (at Level 1/2/3, respectively) seconds.
Residual Manifest grants the ability to rummage through an opened Chest once per Trial and will guarantee a basic Flashlight.
Tips: This perk should be the most useful in this challenge, considering you're good at Flashlight blinds and/or Flashlight saves. Bonus points if you can Lightburn the killer. The ability to guarantee a flashlight once per trial is nuts, especially if you bring your own and it runs out. However, you could also just go in empty handed to avoid bringing and possibly losing an item.
Overzealous - After cleansing a Totem, Overzealous activates:
Increases your Repair speed by 4/5/6 (at Level 1/2/3, respectively) %.
Overzealous deactivates when losing a Health State by any means.
Tips: This perk will likely be useless to you. If you manage to find a totem, which could be difficult since you can't use any perks that show totem locations, you should cleanse it just to get the generator speed buff. But even then, you lose it once you lose a health state, and since you have a limited number of totems, you should probably just try and hide from the killer.
My Recommended Strategy: If you want to get value from Haddie's perks to try and escape, you should try and find a totem as soon as possible. If you want, you can bring a map to help you find totems. However, bringing a flashlight will help you get more value from Residual Manifest. Once you cleanse the totem, you will get the buff to generator repair speed, as long as you never lose a health state. To avoid losing a health state, you should try and hide from the killer if possible. Use Inner Focus to try and spot the killer's aura if any of your teammates lose a health state. If you run into the killer, your best bet will probably be to try and blind them, before hiding somewhere else, as you're more useful on gens with your repair speed buff than you would be in chase. Besides this, you should play the game like normal.
Another viable strategy is to ignore her perks entirely and to just treat the game as if you have no perks, occasionally getting some use out of a perk or two.
