How to unlock the Healthy Obsession achievement in Dead by Daylight - Definitive Guide
Healthy Obsession
Edit: Achievement is fixed and fully tracking after the 4.6.1. Patch.
Another achievement that is circumstantial but shouldn't take forever to gain.
You must Heal the Obsession through 10 Health states.
This can be from Injured to Healthy or Dying to Injured to Healthy. If you'd like that double whammy.
Obsessions' within a game rely on 2 factors: The Killer having a Perk that will create an Obsession amongst the Survivors or a Survivor having one of the various Perks making them the Obsession.
Then the second part being that YOU aren't the Obsession. It'll happen.
I've noticed during Healing that I've only got 5% for a few. So annoyingly. If they've started to Self-Heal or another Survivor is Healing them. You're only going to get 5% for that state. Still. It's better than nothing. Even had 3% one Heal that I started.
So take the percentage of the bar that you've Healed and that should give you what you earn. Treat Co-Op Heals as faster experience you both gainfully from the heal than a shared effort.
Strategy I'd adapt for this can be a bit of a selfish one but it will greatly increase your chances of getting progress.
I'd focus on an Objective/Quick and Quiet build when going for this. This will be natural for some and uncomfortable for others.
As for games. It is mostly about playing how you normally play. Get the Gen's. Totems and be cooperative. You're just going to split first from the group (if you found them in game) to go and Rescue/Heal the Obsession when you see that they're Injured or Hooked.
Finding the Obsession:
If you're new to the game then this Obsession talk will be a bit confusing. Don't worry. DBD comes with time.
Your player icons in the bottom left will display your team. Not always. But an Obsession will be appointed in game and can be identified by the Entity surrounding their name (looks like a pincer or some spider legs creating an arch over their icon). Great. An Obsession is in game. When this little "arch" starts wiggling, it'll look more like a pincer then. That's when the Obsession is being chased actively by the Killer. It'll naturally catch your eye but also take note of you yourself, are the Obsession. You may not always see the Killer but they may be able to see you.
Claudette as standard for her camouflage. Bloodied shirt too if you've prestiged her once
Perk choices would be:
Sprint Burst
Quick and Quiet
Self-Heal
Calm Spirit
Empathy
Blood Pact
Perk 1: Sprint Burst - Meg Thomas Perk
For when they're on the other side of the map or you just need to get away from the Killer before they arrive.
Perk 2: Empathy - Claudette Morel Perk
Watching your teammates get injured via icons in the bottom left. You can instantly locate who is where. Empathy will show you where Injured teammates are and only shows you.
Perk 2, option 2: Blood Pact - Cheryl Mason Perk
Will reduce your chances of being the Obsession and will show your aura to the Obsession when they're injured. Making it more likely for them to come find you. But that will require more grinding or Shards being spent at the Shrine. Downside is that if you do happen to become the Obsession because lets face it. It'll probably happen. This Perk deactivates and becomes useless. Empathy will still be versatile as long as you've noted who is where when they get injured and be a pro healer for your team.
Perk 3: Quick and Quiet - Meg Thomas Perk
Again, this is mostly for the times you'll be caught out by a Killer and want a safe exit. You can vault one Window or Pallet without making a noise notification before needing a recharge. Very handy if you're losing a Killer in an L to T exploit loop.
Perk 3, option 2: Calm Spirit - Jake Park Perk
Reduces the chance of Screaming (handy against Doctor/Freddy or Killer Perks such as Deathbound since The Executioner is the latest Killer).
Also reduces Crow disturbances unless you step on them (at Rank 3) which as a Killer myself. I always watch for Crow locations.
Perk 4: Self-Heal - Claudette Morel Perk
It'll go without saying. You might be found first, you might not be the best at saving a teammate or you might get caught by Myers with your pants down.
You can't help your team if you're dead. So even though the objective is to not be seen, nor heard. It won't always go to plan so be prepared for it. Get away safely. Heal yourself then back to the objective.
Finally. Thank you for reading! DBD is all about how you play, merely take these suggestions and incorporate to what you feel is more natural for yourself. There's no point in playing a game if it's a chore.
Any feedback, issues, improvements or questions, please let me know and I'll update/answer accordingly.

Yup I can confirm this achievement is now working again with the latest patch.

As of the patch yesterday, progress is no longer being awarded to this achievement. I was at 99% pre-patch and have healed 5 health bars worth of obsession without unlocking.

This achievement is not very hard and will unlock after a few games if you actually heal your teammates.
The achievement requires you to heal the survivor who is the obsession of the killer 10 times. Once a survive enters the injure-state (after being hit by the killer), it is possible to heal him or her. You need to fully complete the heal, otherwise it won't count towards the achievement if you get interrupted.
By the start of a game, you can already tell which survivor is the obsession by the white tentacle-like things around the players names in the bottom left corner of the screen. Keep in mind there might be games without any obession at all, this depends on survivor / killer perks.

If you want it as quickly as possible, Cheryl's perk "blood pact" will help, with it you will see possession if one of you two is injured.
