How to unlock the Power Moves achievement in Dead by Daylight - Definitive Guide

Pretty straight forward achievement.
However, I do recommend taking a snapshot of the Survivor you plan to use so you can re-equip the perks after you unlock this.

Depending on the players you are paired with (especially the Killer), this could be rather simple or very complicated. So you may be sacrificed little or often.

The description says "one full repair." Stick to fixing one from broken to working and you're good to go. Spreading them cross multiple generators helps, and you do not have to fix them by yourself. Items and their add on, as well as offerings can be attached. They do not void any progress.

Can someone help me understand what I am doing wrong? I repair a generator from start to finish (usually work on others as well) finish the game via the hatch or the exit gate and I don't get any progression. I have no perks but I do start with an offering and an item.

As with all DBD achievements and challenges, the ones that say total mean it can be spread across.

Doing 50% of two different gens is perfectly fine, as long as you hit 100% repair of one in total.

Had an offering equipped and fixed two generators and didn’t get progress towards it.

Can you repair more than one generator per game or it specifically needs to be just one generator per trial?

can confirm one generator is the minimum, did two and got progress

It should state ‘at least 1 generator.’ Feels kinda misleading.

ShaunMichaels83's solution is spot on.

I personally found it easier (and more fun!) to obtain this achievement whilst playing the "Lights Out" mode (note that this is currently a limited time mode, I'm not sure if it will be made a permanent addition down the track).

In this mode, both the Survivor and the Killer are without perks by default, making this achievement much easier to attain since you are on a significantly more even level with each other (compared to when perk and add on builds are used).

Just repair at least one complete generator and then escape the trial in this play mode and it will count towards this achievement. Rinse and repeat until you have escaped 8 separate trials.

(Note: You can completely repair one single generator, or it can be cumulative repair progress over multiple generators. At least one full completion needs to be done; more than one generator repaired will count towards the achievement as well).

If the Killer disconnects during the trial, it will not count as an escape and will not go towards the achievement completion progress (verified last night when I was playing).

Hope this helps, cheers!

We found out empirically that the description is not entirely correct. It is not the general repair of one gene that counts, but the whole gene needs to be created from start to finish. Only after this did the game count (we had a person with a PS5 and tracking the progress of trophies, so the information was accurate).

You need to escape 8 times without perks, while repairing a total of 1 entire generator. Items can be used, escapes through the hatch count.
