I've done this a few times and so has a friend... Neither of us have unlocked it... Done gen and escaped

@AndrewCrossland According to TA you unlocked this achievement March 16th. It probably just didn't give you a notification when it unlocked.

On the swamp map you'll have a giant steamboat, climb up the stairs of the bat so you're on the second floor and the generator will be in the very front. Once the generator is fully repaired the foghorn will go off making a loud noise.
The horn is a non-issue as the generator being completed alerts the killer anyway. You have multiple safe passage ways off the boat in case the killer shows up.
Your next goal is to escape by whichever means you choose and the achievement will unlock.

This trophy is obtained on "The Pale Rose" sub-name of the Backwater Swamp map, which is one of two variations of the map. You will have to repair the generator on the second level of the large steamboat near the center of the map. When you do, a loud foghorn will sound off. You'll want to repair this generator first as it is generally very patrolled by the killer and the large steamboat has a 50/50 chance of having the killer's basement in the lower level of the boat. You don't need to repair the entire generator yourself, but you do need to be on it repairing when the repairs are finished.
