How to unlock the Dismantle achievement in Dead by Daylight - Definitive Guide
All you need to do is sabotage the hooks in a public match, either with a toolbox, Jake's ability (which you DON'T need a toolbox for!), or Jeff's Unique Perk, Breakdown, which destroys a hook you escape or get rescued from (teachable at level 30).
I did this in about 4 matches with Jake just running around the map sabotaging until I was caught/killed.
You won't get too many points overall doing this action alone like I did but if you put on a Sacrifice to improve your BP for Bold actions you might get a tidy sum.

Using the perk Saboteur or breakdown will help with the sabotaging of hooks. You can also bring in a toolkit. With Saboteur and a toolkit it only takes 2 seconds (literally) to sabotage the hook.
Any survivor can earn this trophy but it was designed with Jeff Johansen's perk "Breakdown" in mind. To break a hook you need the appropriate perk or must bring a Tool Box that unlocks the sabotage action into the match. With the sabotage action enabled, crouch under a hook and hold to begin breaking the hook. If you stop breaking a hook there is no penalty and all progress is saved. Progress for this trophy only goes to the person that broke the hook, even if someone else did 99% of the work. A hook typically only stays broken this way for a few minutes before it respawns. Basement hooks can never be broken. The trophy will pop after you have broken your 50th hook. You can unlock this trophy even if you don't own the DLC.
This trophy was introduced at the same time as Jeff Johansen and his perk "Breakdown", which breaks any non-basement hook the killer hangs you on after you've been removed from it, no matter how you're removed from it but honestly it's way faster to use the Jake Park perk "Saboteur" or even faster still to just bring a Tool Box. My favorite Tool Box setup is the yellow one, with the green "Hacksaw" and yellow "Wire Cutter" add-ons, which both increase sabotage speed. You can get about 10 sabotages out of that one Tool Box. You need to break 50 hooks. To do this you need either a toolbox, Jake's Saboteur perk, or Jeff's Breakdown perk. Saboteur allows you to saw hooks without tools, Breakdown breaks the hook automatically when a person with this perk is removed from the hook by teammates.
