How to unlock the Dream Demon achievement in Dead by Daylight - Definitive Guide
While playing as Freddy, use action button when you find a survivor to pull them into the dream world. Do this 200 times and the achievement will be yours.

My action button is RB. Maybe you should revise this to say use the Action button

Action button… as in attack button?
Pretty grindy achievement, albeit very easy. You could literally afk and gain progress. It took me about 15-20matches actively pulling survivors into the dream world.

Essentially all you need to do is make a survivor fall asleep 200 times. As of the Freddy rework in patch 3.1.0, this trophy has been made much easier. Whereas before you had to use his awful power to even be able to hurt survivors, now survivors passively fall asleep automatically on a short timer, and additionally any awake survivor you land an attack on is immediately pulled into the Dreamworld. Below are The Nightmare's new killer powers as described in game.
Dream Demon: The Nightmare passively puts Survivors to sleep over 60 seconds, after which they enter the Dream World. Awake Survivors hear the Terror Radius and see The Nightmare from within 16 meters. The Nightmare appears intermittently to awake Survivors from 16 meters to 32 meters and is invisible to awake Survivors beyond that. Hitting an awake survivor with a basic attack will automatically pull them into the Dream World.
Once in the Dream World, Survivors are affected with the Oblivious status effect and can be effected by Dream Snares or by Dream Pallets placed by the Nightmare. Survivors can wake up by failing Skill Checks, getting hooked, finding an awake Survivor to perform the Wake Up action or by using the Alarm Clocks found within the environment. Each successive Wake Up action takes twice as long to perform. Using the Alarm Clocks will give Survivors a period of 30 seconds before they start falling asleep again.
Dream Snare: Hold the Power Button () to place a Dream Snare on the ground directly in front of The Nightmare. Survivors that come in contact with a Dream Snare will be afflicted by the Hindered status effect, slowing them down while they remain in the trap and for a short duration after leaving it.
Dream Projection: Hold the Active Ability Button () to perform a Dream Projection and teleport to a Generator in your view. Releasing the button early will cancel the action. For each Survivor in the Dream World, the cooldown of the Dream Projection is reduced by 15%.

Take addons for accelerated sleep entry (you can do both - they stack) or the range of the ability.

Survivors enter the dream world automatically every 60 seconds, unless this is changed by killer addons or unless they wake themselves up with an alarm clock that appears on the map, in which case they are given an additional 30 seconds before the main one-minute timer starts. A survivor can also be immersed in a dream world if they are successfully hit with Nightmare's main attack. You can monitor your progress by the inscriptions that pop up on the screen about the accrual of bloody fragments; these inscriptions are called “Dream Demon”.
